A POEM
Titled: I HAD A DREAM BY Amadi David C.E.
(To those who comprehend)

I had a dream,
Where time no longer danced around the clock,
Where haste became everyone's story,
Where the shipmen bowed down at the docks,
I had a dream where everything was lost.

I saw lots falling down at their feet's,
Many had already started singing the songs of the beast,
I had a dream where sons of pleasure chose luxury,
Where bodies laid down by windows and door steps, drenched with blood to sleep.

Where souls ran around on the streets massacred to stiff,
Where wrists were cuffed against wills,
And bodies served open fire salvation,
Where the jingling ear noise showed the main time auction.

I had a dream where figures were no more figures, but tempted to be hot shackles sneaking into people's shoes.
I saw how many blew their trumpets, not loud and great but whimpering,
They called out for dismay but to knowledge, it lost it's way.

The great circle was trembling and lines were terrified.

I had a dream where everything was lost.

This is based on a true life story...

A POEM
WHAT SHALL WE DO by Amadi David C.E.

Your grinding teeth changes nothing but the weightiness of pounding migraine in your head.
The constants slapping of cool waters will never make it hot, it'll only grow on each beat, a bed.

The world is a mirror,
Shattered in puzzles and pieces,
And being broken gives not the desired sight,
Nor peace,
Nor hope,
Or anything.

That is why,
That is why we can't stop no matter what,
That is why our minds will go on,
Weaving tons of thoughts in the library of our heads,
Teaching our little hands to do it's best.

Because if we don't do our best,
What then shall we do?

Lord we say thankyou for bringing us this far👐🙏.

Have you seen a light that not every man has seen?
Can you see it running into every corner?
Have you seen a light that is greater than the sun?
One that is hotter than fire?
A light that can set fire in the midst of rain?
Infinite miles away, darkness flee from it's illumination.
Have you seen a light that blows joy?
A light that moves bones?
One that have faith in it's eyes?
Such a light i love and cherish.
I speak of a light that cannot fail, it never burns out.

This light, the world needs to see.
The light of my life.
A light that constantly uphold me and never let go.
A light pure and Holy.

Have you seen a light that directs?
A light that soars many heights?
A light that lives in my heart?
A light who was, who is and is to come?
This light is right in front of you.
Find it!

A POEM
UNWANTED by Amadi David C.E.

Once unwanted,
An unwanted pearl shaped like a cloud
In misery I held you close,
Ironic because you were me.

Behind these smiles,
Gists of painful tales,
Revelation is the enemy
Till ages to come.

These magnificent tale that stood against generations past,
I will not spill,
I will bleed inside and fake this smile.

Just so forever,
The tears of memories will die
Who wakes the dead?
Dead souls buried over cocoyam leaves and salty smoke

If my body was the cause,
Why does it live?
Why does it glitter under the sun?
Why do you look up into my eyes like the starry blue skies?

Bad memories and no answers,
Questions not to be answered
Never asked and,
Never told.

For if so,
Dirts drown the heart of a pearl,
One once called a mistake.

Hope smiles so I follow
We have nothing,
Lack, gruesomely broods,
I know time will tell, look up forever and glow,
Because if I have no one son, I have you.
