I ALMOST WALKED AWAY FROM ALL OF THESE

Not once, Three times.
The first time I was exhausted and invisible and wondering if any of this was worth it

The second time, someone I trusted told me I wasn't built for this, That I should be realistic That people like me don't make it in spaces like this
The third time, I actually stopped
For months, I was completely silent
I told myself I was taking a break, I was really hiding.
What brought me back wasn't motivation, It wasn't a sign from the universe, It wasn't a viral moment or a surge of followers.

It was one message, From one person Who said "I don't know if you'll see this but your words helped me through the hard part, when you were consistent and being yourself "
One person, just one person
That's all it took to remind me why I started.

Who is YOUR one person? the one you keep going for even when everything feels pointless?

Tag them or tell me about them below. Let's celebrate them today.

THE COMEBACK:: the moment everything shifted. Don't miss it. 🔥

THE HOUSE THAT SHAPED ME::

Let me take you somewhere.
A small house, three bedrooms that somehow held five people and all of their unspoken things
A front door that squeaked ,which meant you could never come home late without consequences
This is where I learned everything important

I learned that love doesn't always come wrapped in softness, Sometimes it comes as a packed lunch when there wasn't enough money for both lunch and electricity

Sometimes it comes as a mother who did double businesses and still asked about your day with genuine interest at midnight

I learned that silence between people can mean a hundred different things and you have to learn to read which silence you're in.
I learned that dignity isn't something money gives you, I watched my parents walk into rooms without a coin in their pockets and command more respect than people in expensive suits

But I also learned harder things.
I learned what it feels like to want something and have nobody around you who has ever had it , so you have no map, no model, no proof that someone like you can get there, just the love from your parent
I learned what it means to be the first.
There's a particular kind of loneliness in that. a particular kind of pressure, Like you're not just doing it for yourself , you're doing it for everyone who came before you who didn't get the chance, and everyone who will come after you who needs to know it's possible,
That's a heavy thing to carry when you're young.
I carried it quietly.
I carried it the way that house taught me to carry it
with my back straight and my face calm and my feelings tucked somewhere safe where they couldn't be used against me
It wasn't healthy, But it was survival
And survival, when you're young and figuring out the world, is sometimes the best you can do.

What did your childhood home teach you? Not the lessons anyone sat down to teach, the ones the walls taught you, The ones the dinner table taught you, The ones the silences taught you

The moment everything cracked open. The day I stopped being who everyone needed me to be and started becoming who I actually was, It's the hardest chapter,

I WILL SEE YOU THERE 🥰

I wasn't always this person.
There was a version of me that was smaller, quieter, afraid of taking up space in rooms I'd actually earned the right to be in.

I remember the exact moment I decided to change that.
It wasn't a big dramatic moment, It was a Tuesday, ordinary, unremarkable
when someone looked at me and said something so casually cruel that I smiled, nodded, and went home and cried for two hours.
And then I made a decision.
Never again.
Not never again will someone be unkind. That's not something you can control
But never again would I shrink myself to make someone else comfortable in their smallness.

That Tuesday changed my life.
Stay tuned 🥰

I want to tell you about a girl.
She grew up in a house where love was present but money was not.
Where dreams were allowed, just not out loud. Where you learned very early that wanting more than what you had was either brave or foolish, and nobody could quite tell you which one.
She was the kind of child who watched everything.
Quiet in rooms full of noise. Always in the corner with a book or a thought she hadn't figured out how to say yet.
Teachers called her shy.
Family called her serious. The other children called her nothing at all, which somehow felt worse.
But inside that quiet girl was something nobody could see yet.
A FIRE
Not the loud, crackling kind that announces itself. The slow burning kind
The kind that doesn't need an audience
The kind that survives cold nights and wet seasons.
The kind that waits.
She didn't know what she was waiting for.
She just knew with the quiet certainty of someone who has spent years listening instead of talking, that she was meant for something she couldn't name yet.

Her mother used to say: "Still waters run deep"
She didn't understand it then.
She does now.
Because that girl?
That quiet, watching, fire-carrying girl that nobody saw coming?
She became me.
And this week, for the first time ,I'm going to tell you everything.
Not the highlighted version.
Not the cleaned up, caption ready version. The real one. With the chapters I've never read out loud to anyone.
Stay with me

I have been wanting to talk about this for some time now, but haven't found the time to do so

Not because it's something I want to hide, but because I wasn't sure I was ready to put it into words.
For so long, I carried certain stories, moments, and experiences quietly
Some of it shaped me in ways people could see. Others changed me in different ways
But I have decided it's time to let them out.

Tonight, I'm opening a chapter of my life.
In the next 7 days, I'll be taking you behind the scenes of the journey that made me who I am, the wins, the mistakes, the lessons, the moments that nearly made me quit, and the ones that kept me moving.
Day 1,Day 2,Day 3......Day 7.
Each story connects to the next, and together they tell a bigger story I've never fully shared before.
This isn't just another post.
It's a conversation I've been putting off for far too long.

Tonight by 8 PM.

I was with my parents
A happy child, ate the little that was brought home
And then she came, with promises so high, like that of Nigerian government

Took me away, brought me to her home, and then she calls, with a voice, sharp like a cracking glass

I ran, just as my little legs can carry, and then a slap comes fast, and laughter disappears

My little hands are made to do the laundries, taller than I can stand, soap surds and tears, both left unshed

I became a cleaner, even when I can barely clean myself up

My body became a map, maybe to trace my mindset back to home,I slept on the mat, with my back bent and sore

I am just a boy, my childhood shouldn't taste like fear nor sorrow.

And then I saw her through the window,a net like dress, with a red lingerie, the view was translucent, with a dangling tatas, it's been days now, and I can't still get the view of my head, although I have gone back to my base, but anytime I'm making out with my wife, her pictures keep flashing,I had no other choice than to facilitate my transfer to Abuja from port Harcourt
I met Helen when I went for a site supervision with the M.D, she was accommodating and very intelligent, her beauty was a sight to behold, and the fragrance of her body spray,is something that announces her presence even before she steps in,we exchanged pleasantries and numbers and that was it, fortunately enough we were lounged in same hotel,a night before I came back to port Harcourt I saw her at the pool side, looking edible,I had just one thing in mind,I will definitely come back for you
Back in portharcourt, everything changed,I became absent minded, my wife literally begs for intimacy and when I touches her,all I saw was Helen, back to Abuja,I stopped picking my wife's call, stopped attending to the needs at home, all my resources was going to Helen, family called, begged and even threatened, but all I thought about was my sweet curvy Helen, day's turned to weeks, weeks to months and I stopped visiting home even on my leave day's.

On the 12th of January,my world came crashing,it was a sunny day,I went for grocery shopping,on my way back,I heard a loud crash, that was all I could remember,I woke up on a hospital bed, unable to stand, after what seems like forever,I was taking back to portharcourt to my wife
It's been 5 years already,I live my life with the little help from my wife and my wheelchair, she is no longer the loving woman that I married, she goes out more often, will be on the phone for hours, giggles while her face is locked on her phone, dresses seductively while going out mostly on Friday nights, deprives me of my conjugal right.

I woke up this morning with a gift wrapped beautifully on the bedside, with a hand written note, Yes she wants to make things right,so I thought, I opened the gift with a renewed hope, but what I saw weakened my knees more than the accident itself,in the well wrapped frame was the picture of Helen and I,that I took on our first night together, naked with Just a little towel around the waistline,I hurriedly read the letter, I'M OFF TO THE AIRPORT, MY LAWYER WILL BRING THE DIVORCE PAPERS TO YOU,DO WELL TO SIGN IT,I KNOW YOU MIGHT HAVE OPENED THE GIFT, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SWEETHEART
As for Helen, she blocked me everywhere from the day she learnt I was bedridden
I'm here, with emotions so heavy like the weight of the world, how do I navigate this life as a cripple,a world that is already difficult for those standing on both feet, maybe God will look away from my sins and make me walk, maybe death will take me and end all this suffering, maybe my wife is pulling a prank on me, maybe it's my destiny to be here,MAYBE.

You will never amount to any good thing in life, with your dull brain and sluggish self, just look at the time you are entering my class you f**l
The class went silent, I looked at Aisha, she opened her mouth to explain, but couldn't find any words, she just stood at the door with tears streaming down her face, he ordered her to leave
I wanted to go after her, and he promised to make me regret my life if I should step an inch

Two weeks later, it was a 9am class, he came in and everywhere went silent as usual, who wouldn't fear the almighty Sir Ken
For the past weeks now I haven't seen Aisha, or she has finally dropped out and starts hawking water?which seems like a perfect thing for her to do

Ooh atleast you noticed she is absent, you killed her, you sent her to an early grave with your uncouth attitude, always downgrading everyone, she was just a girl trying to meet up with taking care of her aged sick mother and meeting up with classes, she tried her best to meet up with grades, as a teacher it is your duty to look after your students, but in your case, you rather frustrate us mentally
Ooh yes, she was involved in an accident the day you sent her away, she was going back home, and was hit by a vehicle, she has been in and out of a pharmacy offcourse they couldn't afford to take her to the hospital, and she succumbed to the pains yesterday
You did so well Mr Ken,thank you

He stood without saying a word, the students became sober, I couldn't hold back my tears, she was the only friend that understood me, she was not just a classmate, she was a sister
The bell rang,it wasn't time for break,it only means one thing
The principal wants to break the news of Aisha's d*ath.
