Alaafia oo, my beautiful people,

Today, my heart is filled with gratitude, joy, and emotions that words can barely express as I officially open my new store in Lagos.

This moment means so much more to me than just opening a business. It is the fulfillment of a dream, a testimony of resilience, and a reminder that Olódùmarè never forgets His children.

There was a time when Lagos was not kind to me. There was a season when I found myself without a place to call home, a season that forced me to leave the city and return home to start over. At that moment, I could never have imagined that one day I would return, not as someone searching for a way forward, but as someone opening the doors to his own store.

The journey has not been easy. It has taken faith, hard work, sacrifice, patience, and the support of many wonderful people who believed in me when the road seemed uncertain. Every challenge, every disappointment, and every lesson has led to this day.

Today, I stand here grateful. Grateful to Olódùmarè. Grateful to my family, friends, customers, mentors, and everyone who has supported my journey. Your encouragement carried me through moments when giving up would have been easier.

So today, I celebrate this milestone. I celebrate growth. I celebrate perseverance. I celebrate answered prayers.

This is my full vlog from my visit to the J. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Lagos, where I went to listen to the sound of ALÁLẸ̀ (The Ancestors sound).

It was a deeply therapeutic moment for me, listening to the melodious sounds of Yorùbá music and witnessing youths and elders come together for such a remarkable cultural event.

All thanks to Olódùmarè and to every individual who contributed, supported, and made this beautiful night a reality.

Our culture lives on through moments like this.
