Nollywood is the true definition of this adage
"MONKEY DEY WORK,BABOON DEY CHOP"
Crew starting from Director,passing through the PM,DOPs down to the PAs dey work but Actors dey chop
Some actors get paid 1.5m naira,2m naira even 800k but they come to set anytime they like and determine when set will be closed sometimes they collect this money and do one or two days off they go to another set but Crew work for 6 days least 3 days straight and receive a paltry 50 to 200k sometimes with lots of insults from Producers and even some of the actors they work behind the scenes to make them deliver well
I pray that one day in Nollywood,Crew will be paid higher than actors cos seriously they work like an elephant then eat like an ant
