You cannot use mercy to rewrite an instruction God has already given.
Mercy is not a license to disobey God.
Grace is not permission to ignore His instructions.
And prayer should not become an excuse for refusing to obey.
Sometimes we ask God to bless what He has already told us to change.
We ask for mercy while holding on to disobedience.
We want the promise without following the instruction.
But true obedience means trusting God even when His instruction is difficult.
If God has spoken, our responsibility is to obey not to negotiate.
Mercy gives us another opportunity to get it right;
it does not give us permission to keep doing what God has told us to stop.
So when God gives you an instruction, take it seriously.
Obey with humility.
Walk in faith.
And trust that His ways are always wiser than ours.
Mercy may restore you after disobedience,
but don’t deliberately use mercy as an excuse to disobey. 🤔
