💔 “If I Had Known This a Year Ago, I Wouldn’t Be Divorced Today.”
Sometimes, a marriage doesn’t end because there was no love. Sometimes, it ends because important things were ignored for too long.
Small disagreements become unresolved issues.
Unspoken feelings turn into resentment.
Communication slowly disappears.
And before you know it, two people who once couldn’t imagine life without each other are asking, “How did we get here?”
The painful truth is that some couples only realize what they should have done differently after the dam.age has already been done.
Marriage requires more than love. It requires communication, emotional maturity,
accountability, understanding, patience, healthy boundaries, and the willingness to work on yourself and the relationship.
Don’t wait until your marriage is falling apart before you start learning how to build it.
Some lessons are better learned from wisdom than from pa.in. ❤️
👉 What is one marriage lesson you wish every couple would learn before saying “I do”?
And just to clear the air before anyone starts asking questions 😂—this isn’t my personal experience. I’m sharing someone else’s experience because there’s a valuable lesson in it that we can all learn from.
