I recorded “SCAM” on a night soaked in agony—
a night when I seized the microphone with courage,
while my heart trembled like a soul of a soldier sighting his sunny grave. ⚰️
That was the night I jailed my fear
and gave my pain a voice.
The night I inked “SCAM.” 😨
Oh… my memory still wanders through those firing forest where men at war go hide and harsh to fence Nigeria walls
I hear their throats cry for help 😢 innocent dreams were suffocating in a land where hope had become SCAM. 😞
I remember the tears.
I remember the silence.
I remember the cries of those who had nothing left to give,
while the cake was never enough for the few pirates
returning with beautiful posters, empty promises,
and rehearsed smiles. 😢😭
They came dressed as Judges, Clerics and Aspirants—
wearing different robes,
speaking different languages,
but serving the same hunger.
They were not the solution.
They were not the saviours.
THEY WERE THE “SCAM.”
And that night,
I did not just record a song…
I recorded the pain of a people.
I recorded the tears behind closed doors.
I recorded the truth that fear wanted buried.
