On the 28th of March, the ACFTA Fest delegation, led by Cameroonian and Ajax legend Eyong Enoh , paid a visit to Eagles Wings Academy to engage with its young and promising talents. The visit served as a moment of inspiration and connection, as the delegation interacted closely with the players, coaches, and parents.

During the session, Mr. Enoh and the ACFTA Fest team emphasized the importance of nurturing and supporting the players’ growing careers. They encouraged the coaches and parents to remain intentional in their guidance, while also urging the young prospects to stay disciplined, work hard both on and off the pitch, and remain focused on building a bright future in the game.

Anchored on the theme “Celebrating African Talents, Sports and Legacy,” the visit reinforced the mission of ACFTA Fest, to not only promote trade and collaboration across Africa, but also to invest in the next generation of sporting excellence on the continent.

Building the future of African football starts on the pitch, long before the bright lights of the stadium.

At the ACFTA Fest Football Clinic which held on the 28th of March 2026 in Abuja. We teamed up with Eagles’ Wings Football Academy to host a day dedicated to the next generation of talent.

Led by Ajax and Cameroonian legend Eyong Enoh , the session focused on the fundamentals that define a great player: discipline, technique, and a deep understanding of the basics.

As Enoh shared with the young athletes, the importance of catching them young cannot be overstated. By instilling the right habits early, we aren't just training players; we are cultivating the future icons of the continent.

Before the novelty match, we are investing in the next generation. In collaboration with Eagles’ Wing Football Academy , The ACFTA Fest Football Clinic kicks off tomorrow, March 28th, at the Eagles Wing Football Academy.

This clinic is more than just training; it is about passing the torch of African excellence. Young talents will get to sharpen their skills and soak up the atmosphere before watching their heroes play.

Eyong Enoh is a retired professional footballer and former midfielder for AFC Ajax and the Cameroon National Team , widely respected for his discipline, leadership, and tactical intelligence on the pitch. During his international career, he was a key member of the Cameroon national football team, representing his country at the FIFA World Cup in 2010 and 2014, as well as the Africa Cup of Nations in 2010 and 2015, where he contributed to the team’s run to the quarter-finals.

Following his retirement, Enoh has remained deeply involved in the development of football and young athletes. He is the CEO of 4PBaller, a platform dedicated to mentoring and guiding aspiring professionals. He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management and Lifestyle from Rome Business School and is an alumnus of the prestigious Ajax Coaching Academy, reflecting his strong foundation in both the technical and managerial aspects of the game.

In addition to his leadership roles, he is the author of *“Become A Successful Pro Footballer,”* a practical guide for aspiring players. He is also a sought-after event speaker, life coach, and football analyst, known for sharing insightful perspectives drawn from his experience at the highest levels of the sport.

He will be a Speaker for the ACFTA FEST 2026 happening in Abuja, Nigeria on the 26th of March 2026.
