Happy Father’s Day to the man who taught me courage, sacrifice, discipline, and service.
Dad, today should be a day of celebration, but it is also a day of reflection. Since your passing on July 23, 2018, our family has diligently followed every procedure, submitted every required document, and complied with every process necessary to secure your pension and gratuity.
Sadly, despite our patience and persistence, the benefits you worked for and rightfully earned through years of dedicated service have still not been released.
As you continue to rest in peace, I want the world to know that the nation you served and sacrificed for has yet to fully honor its obligation to you. It is painful that after giving your strength, your time, and your commitment in service to your country, your family is still struggling to access what is rightfully yours.
Today, on Father’s Day, I respectfully call on Access Bank Access More to do what is just, fair, and humane by facilitating the release of my late father’s pension and gratuity. This is not a request for charity; it is an appeal for justice and the fulfillment of an obligation owed to a man who faithfully served his nation.
Dad, your legacy lives on. We remain proud of your service, proud of your sacrifice, and proud to call you our father.
Continue to rest in peace. We will not stop pursuing the justice and dignity you deserve.
