SOCRATES OF ATHENS 🤝 VERYDARKMAN (VDM) OF NIGERIA — SAME WAR, SAME ENEMIES.
Socrates was hated because he exposed lies dressed as wisdom.
VDM is hated for the same reason.
VDM didn’t carry weapons.
He carried facts, logic, and analysis.
He exposed:
Fake pastors selling miracles and lies
Fake social activists feeding on public sympathy
Government officials looting Nigeria dry
Fake and unlicensed products endangering lives
Just like Socrates, he didn’t shout nonsense — he analyzed issues deeply, broke them down step-by-step, and forced people to confront uncomfortable truths.
And what followed?
The same old script:
Sponsored social media attacks
Character assassination
Paid influencers and blog pages deployed to discredit him
“He’s too harsh”
“He talks too much”
“He should be silenced”
That’s exactly how Athens treated Socrates.
When you expose corruption, the corrupt don’t argue with facts — they attack your person.
When you challenge lies, liars don’t repent — they mobilize mobs.
Socrates exposed false teachers who pretended to know everything.
VDM exposes modern-day frauds hiding behind religion, activism, politics, and branding.
Socrates taught people how to think.
VDM forces Nigerians to ask questions.
And that is the real crime.
A society that hates analysts, truth-tellers, and questioners is a society addicted to illusion.
History is clear: 👉 Truth-tellers are never loved in their time
👉 They are mocked, attacked, isolated
👉 Until later generations admit they were right
Different centuries.
Different platforms.
Same resistance to truth.
When lies are profitable, truth becomes dangerous.
