While still doing research on our new project, “Sons of ELcar” webtoon, we had one of our remote artists, Mr Perez work on a few location concepts to which the story is based on.

We appreciate your continuous support on the series, it goes a long way. The fund raiser campaign is still open and will remain open for a longer time.
We don’t yet have a crypto address attached to the studio name. That can be discussed with the financial team.

We are still looking to hire comic artist. It is mandatory that artist must be in the US. Also please send your portfolio (comic illustrations) along side your cover letter. You can add your CV, but we don’t really need it. Portfolio is more important to the hiring team.

It’s finally here as promised. Chapter 2 & 3 (“MOON KISS”) Wow! They released both chapters at once. 🤩 🤩🤩 Everyone is so excited about it. We are having a party this Saturday. The cover and title looks amazing, like it’s the peak of romance.😅😅😅 I haven’t even read it yet.

We thought to share this webtoon “Sons of Elrca” series title coming soon from our studio. There was originally supposed to be another webtoon released along side this one. However the company has been going through serious challenges with our US office building space. Our lease has already expired and we are having legal payment issues. After taking over the studio from the last guy, I can’t say things have fully settled.

We appreciate the $10 000 donation from the Smiths to support the Company funds, but this is nothing to keep up with our expenses when running a medium- large team studio in the US. More updates is going on on our private telegram page please turn on notification to always stay updated on the extras. We really appreciate all our loyal fans and supporters that also support purchasing copies of our work.

In addition, our new Comic Series “Moon Kiss” chapter 2 was delayed because the boss personally asked for a remake due to quality issues and artists have also been complaining about payment. It’s really tough to run a small company here.

We also take a moment to mourn the death of one of our most lovely colleagues, Mia Phillips. She passed on about 2 weeks ago; we will not mention the cause. She will be missed and we hope things don’t get to boring in the office for the others. Chapter 2 of “Moon Kiss” should be released next week. Hopefully the boss would approve the final version.

I will also share recent updates on the studio here as much as I can.

As the year draws to a close, the team takes a moment to look at all the challenges we overcame. A job well done to the MR Works team.

We look forward to an amazing New year with new titles and many amazing offers. Decorations everywhere in the studio. Although most of the staff have left for their holiday celebration,this drawing was done by one of our artists to call it a year.

Our agents in Nigeria have contacted us 2 days ago about some of our earliest African titles. These were some of the guys we first contacted when we reached out about African titles.

One of the guys still mentioned them having printed versions of the book. They were gonna get read of it so they reached out to let us know; crazy how much went into this project. In the email, I could almost feel how sad he was when he heard the project is terminated, since he was the one who came up with the story according to the email.

Funny, I don’t think the boss even ever saw those printed copies. He regrets ever backing the production in the first instance. (🤔Like someone expecting at least 20 chapters for an anime pitch on Netflix and finding only 2 chapters done after full investment, something like that). I’d rather not mention it to him, however I don’t think it matters to the team what he does with it. I told him he could get rid of it if he wanted. Also, I don’t think the Company has any Afro Centric projects in mind at the moment.

Finally, in response to part of the studios’ reformation, this is the updated version of our company Logo, can anyone guess the difference? 😂

So the bosses wife asked our interns to come up with a short story for our social media since our telegram fans have been asking for updates. An assistant artist from the team came up with this story and she decided to produce it since it was brief and simple, therefore would cost less, so she liked it. It concludes the QUASI story.

The assistant artist-
The illustrator- Sam Drane but I won’t be sharing his instagram, it’s funny why some artists like to remain private reminds me of my mentor.

The boss (her husband) didn’t necessarily know this short was in production but she said he hated the book anyway since it was a failure after investing so much only to be scammed in the end. Since she funded this fully from her pocket, she is also using this opportunity to raise funds for our new book “Moon Kiss” chapter 2; so loyal fans can check the link for fund raiser and donation on our telegram.

We really appreciate all the sales and support on the new titles. Chapter 1 of “Moon kiss” will be updated on instagram soon (My bad). One more thing, we share a lot of information on telegram, to join our telegram channel, purchase a book from the link in bio and send us a message with proof, and the team will add you.

Hmm, what have we here.🤔 The title is enough for me. Haven’t read it yet, but this title is everything. Link available in description.

The creators apologize for the delay in the release of this title. It appears the artists have been mentally drained from excessive work over tight deadlines and low budget.

The boss did not like the first edition so they had to rework it over and over. He said the visuals did not fit he’s original aesthetic for the title, he has had the vision for this title for a long time and bringing it to life was a challenge.

With the boss now an active member in the studio, things are different now. There’s a lot going on with the studio. The previous guy did some real damage that can still be felt, vital information about company values, client contact, website data have been lost and the boss is trying to retrieve everything. He’s been really busy and I almost feel sorry for him. 😔 I never knew running a studio can be this stressful. With Lord Oscar (Oscar sama) on our side, I believe we can overcome anything. However the storms, I am happy to be a part of this.

For now, there’s no announcement for any new titles, however knowing how badass this guys can be, I am guessing chapter 2 of “Moon Kiss” but we never know what to expect.

It’s finally here. Chapter 2 GOV was in high demand, so the artists really worked tirelessly on this one. The boss gave them no breathing space, our readers love the new title. You can purchase it directly from here by sending us a message or get it from the link in bio.

Updates with the studio- They plan to release a new title soon, also other chapters of GOV are already a work in progress. Also, bear with us, the last guy did a lot of damage to the studio, and the website should be updated soon. There’s been a lot of work, so the whole team has been very busy.

There was a delay in the release of our latest title. One of our main artists had a mental breakdown, so he had to go for rehab. A lot has been going on with us everywhere.

It’s sad that for years now he had been a major support to the Company. He is our penciller and inker so he plays a very important role. To put it plainly, there won’t be a MR Works without him. He is one of the original founders of the studio. I won’t share his handle here. He might not like it knowing him to be a very private person. He is one of the only few people I respect in this studio since I started, they call him Oscar Sama (Lord Oscar), but I prefer to call him Oscar sensei. Although, I haven’t met him in person but from the video calls, I can tell. He needed the vacation after working none stop for years. Well earned sir! 👍

That’s that. Here’s a sketch he did in pencil since his return although I think he mentioned starting that before rehab. So about our new release, it would come any moment from now since our artist is back, they should release it now.
This one would be fire, we have all been looking forward to it.
