This line of entertainment awards honours the best Live Shows, Artist Tours, Stage Plays (Drama), and
Reality Shows; the Creators behind them, the performers in them, the Audience participating in them, and the Personalities, Government and corporate bodies that create the enabling environment. NiLiSA is also proud to be the first and only Awards that brings under one roof for the pujrpose of recognition, four or five major performing arts: Comedy, Dance, Drama (Stage Play), Music (Concerts/Tours) and Reality TV Shows. The annual event brings together the biggest names in Nigeria’s Showbiz for an evening of celebration, discovery, and meaningful recognition. Why this cliché of Awards? Every time an entertainment show is put together, a lot of efforts, manpower, resources, technical know-how, skills, and brainwork are wielded and exerted. People do not see all the shouts, sleep-over, rehearsals, physical strength, energy, lonely periods, sleepless nights and sweat Live Show Organizers/Hosts have to put in or undergo just to put up an impressive Show for the viewing pleasure and all-round entertainment of audiences. From Music Concerts and Tours to Comedy Shows, Stage Plays to Reality TV Shows, no one remembers to give such people any accolades. NiLiSA was instituted to honour and celebrate those Nigerian Artists and Performing Acts in the entertainment industry cutting across Music, Comedy, Drama (Stage Play), Dance, and Reality TV Shows for their hard work, creativity, and making Nigeria proud.
