A collection of early artwork by a teenage Kanye West has now been valued at over $3.1 million in a stunning reassessment. 👀
The pieces were originally created while he was still in high school in Chicago, long before fame and global recognition. At the time, they were simple prints—sold quietly for just $10 to $15 each.
Years later, the forgotten works resurfaced when a relative discovered the collection and brought it to Antiques Roadshow in 2021. Experts initially estimated their value at only $16,000 to $23,000.
But as Ye’s cultural influence expanded into one of the most polarizing and powerful careers in modern music history, the value of those early pieces shifted. By 2026, the same collection is now reportedly reappraised at over $3.1 million.
