Simple Granola Recipe (No Nuts While Baking)

Ingredients (for baking)
• 3 cups rolled oats
• ½ cup honey or maple syrup
• ¼ cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon (optional but adds great flavor)

Instructions
1. Preheat oven
Set to 160°C (320°F).
2. Mix wet ingredients
In a bowl, combine honey, oil, vanilla, and salt.
3. Add oats
Pour the mixture over the oats and mix well until fully coated.
4. Bake
Spread evenly on a baking tray (lined with parchment paper).
Bake for 20–30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
5. Cool completely
Remove from oven and let it cool this is when it gets crunchy.
Add Nuts AFTER Baking

Once cooled, mix in:
• Almonds
• Cashews
• Coconut flakes
• Dried fruits (like raisins or cranberries)
Extra Tips
• Don’t add nuts during baking so they don’t burn
• For clusters: don’t stir too much while baking
• Store in airtight container

Last week was our midterm break, and thankfully our hospital eye checkup fell within the same week. So we used the opportunity to do a quick checkup.

I actually went on a different day first, as you can see… and at the end of it all, we left with glasses for my four-year-old 🥺

Growing up, I used to think wearing glasses was a flex. But now that it’s my daughter who has to wear them, it hits differently. It’s not exactly something I wished for her.

I’m hopeful though that before she turns seven or ten, whatever made the glasses necessary will be corrected, and she won’t need them anymore.

Motherhood really changes your perspective.

See you guys in my next one , Bye.

4 Things I Do As a jack of all trades to Stay Consistent & Not Give Up

1️⃣ I allow one area to take center stage while I manage the rest with balance.

2️⃣ I commit to a set time frame before I allow myself to quit or switch.

3️⃣ I finish what I start, even when the excitement is gone.

4️⃣ I reduce distractions and comparison so I can stay locked in on my own path.

My fellow Jackie’s you can give this a try.

So I told myself that this March, I’m going to start learning makeup.
Not because I can’t go without it, but because why not? A girl should know these things .
I even had an event in Lekki today and I said,Perfect opportunity. Today is the day.

I brought out my makeup bag arranged everything like a serious MUA,I was ready to blend, bake, contour and transform, only for me to check the time and i was running late.

All that confidence disappeared immediately 😭
I quietly packed everything back inside the bag, applied only lip combo like a soft babe and headed out.

So yes this is officially a failed makeup attempt. Or better still when the makeup said NO.

But don’t worry. This March, I’m actually going to learn. Even if I won’t be doing full glam every time, let me at least know what I’m doing. One day I’ll post that “I finally did it” look and we’ll all celebrate together 😂

I know I’m beautiful without makeup. I just want to learn it for fun, for growth, and for the experience because I’m just a lady

Stay tuned… the real attempt is coming

New month. New levels. Same determined me.

March feels different.
Not just because it’s my birth month… but because I’m stepping into it with clarity, courage, and bigger dreams.

Hi
I’m just a girl who loves trying new things.
A girl who refuses to stay stuck.
A girl who wants to be rich, wealthy, and surrounded by all things good.
A girl who cannot sit still when there’s more to achieve.
A girl who is becoming.

I believe it’s okay to want more.
It’s okay to switch paths when something isn’t working.
It’s okay to explore until you find what truly fits You are not confused. You are growing.
People will talk. They will doubt you. They will question your moves, but when you finally win, those same people will repost you, celebrate you, and say they “always knew.”

So do what you have to do as long as it’s good and legitimate do it with your full chest. With your hands,With your feet, With your whole heart,Because at the end of the day, nobody is coming to save you. You save yourself.

And yes… it’s my birth month 🥹🎉
I’m super grateful.
I can’t wait to see the wins, the growth, the expansion this March.

If you got to this point , this is your sign.
Follow, like, and share someone else might need this reminder too.
