Looking at today's APC presidential primaries, one can't help but wonder whether Nigerians have truly learned from the challenges of recent years. After enduring economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment, and the rising cost of living, many citizens had hoped for a different political culture and a stronger commitment to accountability.
A nation can only progress when both leaders and citizens learn from past mistakes. If we continue to repeat the same patterns while expecting different results, the suffering may only deepen.
Nigeria is blessed with talented and hardworking people, but real change requires wisdom, courage, and responsible choices from everyone involved in the political process. The future of the country depends not only on those seeking power but also on the decisions made by the people.
