The Past Few Months has been trying for me. If there's one thing I'm grateful for is that God held me close. This is me saying God is my anchor. I am thankful for growth and for where I am.

This journey that I have started, he will see me through.

The Good Bad Mother surprisingly started well with two young couple in love, getting married and having their own business. Their dream coming to pass with a child on the way till tragedy struck that left Ji Young Sun ( Ra mi Ran) a widow and an expectant mother. Having to switch towns, start her late husband's pig farm business again and raising her son Choi Kang Ho ( Lee Do Hyun) alone.

Raising a child alone is not an easy feat let alone raising a boy child as a single female parent. Ji Young Sun not only played the role of a mother but a tough father as well making sure he ate, restricted his movements and friendship, sent him to school and making sure he becomes a very good Prosecutor. Apparently, being a prosecutor is a very prestigious vocation in South Korea.

As a middle aged mother who has sent her child to school, he is done and working, I guess your expectations will be now this child can take care of me and we can finally be and have the family we ought to have had. Imagine her surprise when her son shows up with the daughter of an assembly man whom is planning to be the next President of South Korea and asks her to sign his adoption papers. A mother's love surely is a good driving force. She knew her son. Kang Ho surely must have a reason. She in despair signs the paper and then Tragedy struck.

Raising a child is not for the faint hearted. Imagine raising your adult child as a growing pre-teen all over again. Not only did she have to do that but also become his care giver as he was paralyzed. Their relationship started all over again. From them being friends, to mother-vhild relationship, mixing with their neighbours and enjoying communial living to discovering that Kang Ho has been investigating the death of his biological father which led to his accident and his losing of memories.

The Good Bad Mother depicts motherhood, parenting, friendships, partnerships, forgiveness, , love, communial living ( trust me, nosy and friendly neighbours are a handful), laughter and most importantly growth.
Will Kang Ho get his memories back? How did his love life go? How did Young Sun make it up to her son?
