Ọba Adenaike Aina Alagbe (Adegorushen IV) was a pivotal historical figure in Ikorodu, serving as the last Oloja of Ikorodu and the first Oba to be crowned (Ayangburen) in 1950.

Born in 1854 to the Lasunwon Ruling House, he reigned from 1929 until his passing in 1951, marking a transition in Ikorodu's traditional leadership.

He was installed as the Oloja of Ikorodu on June 3, 1929, at age 75, and later formally crowned the Ayangburen on April 10, 1950, transitioning the town from an "Oloja" to an "Oba".

He is recognized as a transition ruler who oversaw the move of the palace from Awofin in Ajina to its current location in Aiyeluja.

Known for his long life, passing away on November 14, 1951, at the age of 97.

He is remembered in Ikorodu history for his role in modernizing the town's chieftaincy structure.

Happy Birthday to the indomitable Dr. Lizzy Aishat Anjorin Lawal, An Amazon and a living legend

Today, the drums of celebration sound louder, the talking drums echo your name, and the ilẹ̀ Yoruba itself rejoices for a rare gem, an Amazon, a woman of fire

it is one’s honor that preserves them in life. Yours is a life clothed in dignity, courage, and boldness that cannot be ignored. You are the woman who walks through storms and still arrives with grace.

Àkinkanju obìnrin! A fearless woman whose spirit cannot be caged. With your presence, confusion gives way to clarity, strength replaces fear, and direction is restored. You are wisdom in motion, strength in human form.

They say, “orí ẹni là ń bó, a kì í bó ti ẹlòmíràn”, yet your destiny shines so brightly that it lights the path for others. You are not just walking your journey; you are opening roads where none existed.

“Bí iná bá kú, a fi eeru bo o; bí ọrọ̀ bá kú, a fi ọgbọ́n dá a”, where others see endings, you bring wisdom, renewal, and life.

Your resilience is not ordinary; it is divine, ancestral, deeply rooted like the iroko that no storm can uproot.
“Ẹni tí Ọlọ́run bá fẹ́, kó mọ̀nà; ẹni tí Ọlọ́run bá gbé ga, kì í lọ̀ sẹ́yìn.” Your elevation is evident, your grace undeniable. Through trials that would shake many, you stood firm — “bí a bá ṣubú, a gbọdọ̀ tún dìde” — and indeed, you rose, again and again, stronger and more radiant.

You are àpẹẹrẹ rere, a symbol of unapologetic truth, and your character, your boldness, your unwavering spirit make you truly beautiful beyond measure.

On this sacred day, we do not just celebrate your birth, we celebrate your essence, your victories, your scars that became stars. May Ọlọ́run continue to crown your efforts with success. May your orí never lack oil, may your path never lack light.

“Kí ọwọ́ yin má bà jẹ́, kí ẹsẹ̀ yin má kọsẹ̀, kí gbogbo ohun tí e bá fọwọ́ kan máa yọrí sí rere.”

May all you lay your hands upon prosper, may your steps be ordered, and may goodness never depart from you.

Long life, lasting joy, and unending prosperity shall be yours.
Keep rising, like the sun that cannot be hidden. Keep roaring, like the lioness that fears no forest. Keep shining, for your light is ancestral and eternal.

Happy Birthday, omo kan soso bii milionu, àkinkanju obinrin, eni iyi, eni eye
