Earlier today, the President of the Lagos State Public Service Club, Comrade Olukayode Odunuga JP, delivered a heartfelt goodwill message at the retirement ceremony of Mrs. Anike Adekanye, the Tutor General/Permanent Secretary of Education District II. The event was held at the Education District II Headquarters, Maryland Schools Complex, Maryland.
In his message, he conveyed deep appreciation for Mrs. Adekanye’s unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership, and her remarkable contributions to the development of public education in Lagos State. He praised her legacy of excellence, discipline, and visionary service that has positively influenced countless students, educators, and administrators.
Comrade Odunuga also lauded her role as a respected and committed member of the Lagos State Civil Service Club, noting that her presence and contributions to the club have been both impactful and deeply valued. He reassured her that the Club remains her home, even in retirement, and wished her continued joy, health, and fulfillment in the next chapter of her life.

The occasion was a beautiful blend of celebration, gratitude, and admiration for a sterling career that has left an indelible mark on the Lagos State education sector.
