Cyberbully Charge: "I Was Not Coerced, Intimidated As Agege breed Journalist, Adegbenro Apologized To Agege Council Chairman

Following the recent developments on Cyberbullying charge against the Agege based Journalist, Adegbenro Nurudeen Adenekan by the Executive Chairman of Agege LG Hon. Ganiyu Kolawole Egunjobi that resulted in a police invitation at Alagbon police station.
Mr. Adegbenro Nurudeen has took to his page to clear the air over the perceived rift between himself and the council Chairman and apologized to the council chairman over his statements.
He made this statement on a video posted on his page today and seeks for peace while reiterating his commitment to disseminate information to the public objectively ".
According to him, "This is to let everyone, especially the people of Agege and beyond know that, I was not coerced, threatened, bribed and intimidated to apologise, but for the sake of peace and respect for both parties, especially the family and personality of the Council Chairman".
" As I settled the matter between Agege Local Government Chairman, Hon Ganiyu Egunjobi and I, he revealed how some of my posts have attacked him and his family which was not intentional. I felt bad because my presentation was not meant to attack or cyberstalk him but to disseminate information to the public objectively "
"With that, I personally apologize if my posts have attacked him and his family members.It is not in anyway intentional"
"As I continue my job of information dissemination, I promise to continue my objective reportage and undiluted delivery "

On the part of the Chairman, stakeholders applauded the Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi for taking the legal part in addressing the issue of cyberbullying rather than being 'rascal' about it.
