Infrastructure: Egunjobi Constructs Onafuwa, Okanlawon Streets After Decades of Neglection

The Executive Chairman of Agege LG High Chief Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi, JP has embarked on the construction of some links road around Otubu area of Keke, Ward F Agege,.

AgegePulse Magazine learnt that Onafuwa and Okanlawon Streets have been in dilapidated state for over decades without government attention, but the present government has deemed it fit to fix the road to ease Commuters movement in that Community.

When completed the street will serve commuter from Otubu, Powerline, Abeokuta amongst others.

"Today, I joined the Alake of Egbaland, HRM Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okunkenu IV,CFR, to host the Alaafin of Oyo,
Oba Abimbola Abdulhakeem Owoade I, at Ake Palace in Abeokuta.

"The 46th Alaafin was at the palace as part of his ongoing tour.

"I was at the occasion in my capacity as the Otun of Egbaland alongside my statutory chief colleagues and those who are high chiefs.

"Also on ground were Aremo Olusegun Osoba and Chief Yemi Sanusi, the All Progressives Congress state chairman in Ogun, who also doubles as the Asoju Oba of Egbaland.

"The highlight of the royal reception was the moment Oba Gbadebo led his guest on a tour of Ake Palace during which the host showed Oba Owoade the room his predecessor, late Alaafin Lamidi Adeyemi used to live in the Palace.

Agege LG Chairman Donates ₦5m to Winner of Lagos School Debate competition

The Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, High Chief (Alh) Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi has donated the sum of ₦5,000,000 (five million naira only) in support of the winners of the just concluded Lagos State Public Primary Schools Debate Competition as Education Trust Fund.

The beneficiries; Raheem Deborah from Anwarul Islam Primary School, Ogba Agege: Abigeal Sobanjo from Ibukunolu Primary School, Orile-Agege; and Dania Omotola Grace from Ibukunolu Primary School, Orile-Agege

The council chairman, while praising the winners, encouraged them to be more dedicated to their studies and remain good Ambassadors of Agege.

Egunjobi directed the Council Manager along with the Executive Secretary of Agege LGEA and concerned officials to do the needful to ensure the winners benefit the scholarship award.

Cyberbully Charge: "I Was Not Coerced, Intimidated As Agege breed Journalist, Adegbenro Apologized To Agege Council Chairman

Following the recent developments on Cyberbullying charge against the Agege based Journalist, Adegbenro Nurudeen Adenekan by the Executive Chairman of Agege LG Hon. Ganiyu Kolawole Egunjobi that resulted in a police invitation at Alagbon police station.

Mr. Adegbenro Nurudeen has took to his page to clear the air over the perceived rift between himself and the council Chairman and apologized to the council chairman over his statements.

He made this statement on a video posted on his page today and seeks for peace while reiterating his commitment to disseminate information to the public objectively ".

According to him, "This is to let everyone, especially the people of Agege and beyond know that, I was not coerced, threatened, bribed and intimidated to apologise, but for the sake of peace and respect for both parties, especially the family and personality of the Council Chairman".

" As I settled the matter between Agege Local Government Chairman, Hon Ganiyu Egunjobi and I, he revealed how some of my posts have attacked him and his family which was not intentional. I felt bad because my presentation was not meant to attack or cyberstalk him but to disseminate information to the public objectively "

"With that, I personally apologize if my posts have attacked him and his family members.It is not in anyway intentional"

"As I continue my job of information dissemination, I promise to continue my objective reportage and undiluted delivery "

Thank you!, Adegbenro concluded.

On the part of the Chairman, stakeholders applauded the Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi for taking the legal part in addressing the issue of cyberbullying rather than being 'rascal' about it.
