An excerpt article for Monday Morning.

No two people are the same. We make connections and build relationships based on the simple rules and principles that guide our ability to co-exist. Simple rules such as kindness, generosity, love, honesty, humility, appreciation etc., all of which works with the ability to reciprocate these gestures. This is what we are reading today: a story on Kanye West. We love Kanye West! For us, he puts a stress on the A- in the word "Artist". Not because he can be explosive and unmeasured in his comments; not because he audaciously alludes to his greatness and compares himself to geniuses, God, Steve Jobs. "He just want want to bring beauty in the world" is how he sums his work. (We believe!)

We love Kanye because he does what some artists dream to do -- to take chances on his work, not step in line, and make it better the last, even if you don't like it. Yezzus album was one unconventional album, and we loved it for all the things that it was not -- ordinary. His stirring the pot again with the latest album, and all the creativity he is attempting. Here's an article from The New Yorker on Kanye West, that explores his life as an artist.

As an artist, he has achieved everything he first set out to do. On his seventh solo album, “The Life of Pablo,” he looks at how much things have changed.

We are taking on a whole new identity. We are now Electric Solomon Media. But that doesn't mean former logo pal Auggust Media, has been put in the back burner. No. What it means is that we have new plans and new directions for Auggust, without the media suffix. She will henceforth become a trademark for publishing in the future (Yes, we like a female identity, very supple, if we say so ourselves). We will keep you posted. There's more to come on how we intend to engage you! Won't take too long now. It's been a long time coming. Have a great week ahead of you. And find time to read a book, it's your action flick, or if you prefer Romcom, to the soul.
