Faithia Balogun, Muyiwa Ademola, Dayo Amusa, others celebrate with Iyabo Ojo as she marks 5th anniversary of her NGO

Nollywood actress and movie producer, Iyabo Ojo celebrated the 5th anniversary of her non-governmental organization, Pinkies Foundation amidst pomp and pageantry last Sunday, May 1, 2016.

Top dignitaries, family and friends stepped out to support the ‘Beyond Disability’ actress as she marked the anniversary of her NGO which caters to the needy in the society and the children with special needs.

The well-attended event which took place at R&A City Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, also witnessed a massive turnout of Nollywood celebrities.

Guests in attendance include Toyin Kolade, Faithia Balogun, Dayo Amusa, Mercy Aigbe, Muyiwa Ademola, Yomi Gold, Foluke Daramola, Doris Simeon, Liz Da Silva, Adunni Ade, Toyin Alausa, Sunkanmi Omobolanle and his wife, Abimbola, Adedimeji Lateef, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Fadekemi Momoh among others.

Music was supplied by Juju musician, Lanre Teriba aka Atorise and actress cm singer, Allwell Ademola.

Something cooking? Actress meets with Commissioner for women affairs

The actress shared a photo from a meeting she had with the Commissioner, Hon (Mrs.) Lola Akande.

Popular Yoruba actress, Mercy Aigbe Gentry today, Thursday, May 5, 2016 met with the Lagos state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

The actress shared a photo from a meeting she had with the Commissioner, Hon (Mrs.) Lola Akande.

According to her, she's working with the Commissioner on something that would soon be revealed.

She captioned the photo as, "Quick meeting with Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Hon ( Mrs) Lola Akande ...cooking something! Watch this space."

Aigbe was recently accosted by a police van chasing her car while shooting a movie in Osogbo with her PA and Driver.

Confirming the incident, the assistant Police Public Relations Office, PPRO, Osun state Police command, ASP Egbedele, said it was a minor traffic issue which has been resolved.
