What you see in this work in progress is the face of Lagos hustler. Life, as a Nigerian is hard, I mean really hard, but your determination to succeed has to be harder. My week has been so-so, and I don't intend to bore you with details. I pray God's mercy prevail over our nation. Amen.

I honestly can't wait to be done with this piece. Y'all will love it!

God bless Angeloh for this jam, which I consider most suitable for this post.

Last Friday, I had the privilege of being on The Breakfast Show at Cool FM with Mrs Foluke Femi-Sanda, Senior Marketing Manager, BIC Nigeria.
We were hosted by Mannie and Vanessa, talking about the Bic Art Master Africa competition and what the experience of being a winner was for me and how my artistic journey has been ever since. I must say it was actually cool being on radio again after a long while. My first experience was in 2017. Thank you BIC Nigeria for the opportunity, and thank you 96.9 Cool FM Lagos for having us.

Already ruled out the thought of posting this week, but here we are.
Permit me to rant a bit. I'm never the type to be pessimistic, but I honestly must say that the current Nigerian government gives you a reason to be angry everyday!
I just wanna make art and enjoy being a citizen of this place. But suddenly my life's plan now includes leaving the land of my birth.

Thought I'd just share close up shots of one of my recent pieces.

One peculiar reason why I love working with the person is basically because it affords the liberty to demonstrate my shading prowess. is doing a fantastic job with the BIC ART MASTER COMPETITION by acknowledging pen artists and giving them platform to become more visible to the world.
I'm rooting for every Nigerian artist that's putting in for this year's edition. Shout out to

As as you can tell from this piece and other works by me, I'm good with the brush too. I can't deny that God has been gracious to be by blessing with the gift and the patience to go sit through the thought process and execute the ideas that comes.

This is titled CONFLICT.
