Public Notice: A Final Statement Regarding the Queen of Ibile Pageant, First Edition
LAGOS, NIGERIA - The management of the Queen of Ibile Pageant is issuing this notice to provide a final and comprehensive statement regarding the conclusion of our inaugural edition. We apologize that it has taken this long to resolve all matters, and we thank everyone who has worked with us for their patience and understanding as we navigated challenges we never could have envisaged. We have never denied our commitment nor our intention to fulfill our obligations.
Our brand was created to champion empowerment through long-term vision and commitment. We are aware that previous dates for resolution were not met, which was not our intention nor a deliberate act. We have been transparent to the best of our abilities on the circumstances from other ventures that have affected us. This notice, however, is our final commitment. While the official window for the first edition extends to January, we believe it is in the best interest of all parties to bring this chapter to an immediate close. To provide clear and final closure, we are diligently working to disburse all outstanding top 5 cash prizes, other outstanding balances to mentors, partners and crew members. The founder, though currently attending to personal matters, has ensured that a definitive plan is in place for all disbursements to be completed between October 15 and 31st, 2025. Following the final disbursement, all communication groups related to the first edition will be officially dissolved.
We embarked on this journey with plans to provide a lasting legacy for our winners. It is important to note that our brand's foundation is built on empowerment and support; we did not collect any money from the contestants for their participation nor did we use their images for commercial gain. We rather took care of them and gained absolutely nothing in return. While the planned trip to Mexico was unfortunately postponed due to our partner's festival on hold indefinitely, it was our intention to use the Royal Ibile Expedition Project to provide an even greater platform. We believe that focusing on immediate needs alone can distract from the greater purpose of a brand and its long-term goals.
We have weathered significant challenges, including those caused by new government policies in our other ventures, and have done so with integrity and unwavering resolve. We are a brand that conquers obstacles and is not defined by them. We understand that in business, you win some and lose some. On this, we have counted our losses and are now turning things around. This is our final word on the matter as we turn our full attention to the exciting projects ahead.
