Do not judge people by their appearance; read this story:
A rich man once lived in a village. The villagers despised him deeply because, in their eyes, he was extremely stingy, never donating a single coin to the poor.
In that very same village lived a kind-hearted butcher who distributed free meat to the needy every single day. The townspeople would constantly praise the butcher, but whenever the rich man walked by, they would insult him and shout, "Learn how to be generous from the butcher, you miser!"
The rich man would hear their harsh words, smile a sad smile, and walk away in silence without defending himself.
Eventually, the rich man passed away. He died lonely, and only a handful of people attended his funeral. The villagers said to themselves, "The village is finally rid of him," assuming their lives would just continue as usual.
The very next day, the poor went to the butcher to collect their daily free meat. But to their absolute surprise, he turned them away, saying, "The free distribution has ended."
They were shocked and asked him, "Why? What changed you?"
The butcher replied, "I didn't change. The rich man died. He was the one who gave me money every single morning to distribute the meat to you secretly. His only condition was that I never tell anyone. Now that he is gone, the money has stopped."
The Moral of the Story is that never judge people by their outward appearance, nor by the rumors others spread about them.
The person you despise might be the hidden source of your blessings without you even realizing it.
Some noble hearts prefer to do good in secret, leaving the loud applause and empty praise for others. Glory be to God, the Almighty.

This story reminds me of a brother in Islam who sends me money every month to sponsor Madrasah students he has never even met. His goal is to support them until they complete their Quran memorization.
Alhamdulillah, today, one of those students is already memorizing Surah Al-Ahzab, and another is on Surah At-Tahreem. He has never seen their faces; he simply does his good deeds in secret.
Similarly, during Ramadan, many people reach out to me privately to sponsor the needy. I also heard of a man who was sent on Hajj, and to this day, he has no idea who paid for his trip. All he can do is endlessly pray for his unknown benefactor.
Dear brethren, let us take a profound lesson from this.
May Allah accept all our efforts as sincere acts of Ibadah, and may we always be reminded to do everything solely for His sake.
Baarakallahu Feekum.
