Today’s screening of In Her Shoes will be screening at the Africa Rising Film Festival in South Africa 🇿🇦 is poignant because today marks Day 5 of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence.

This story was born out of the need to use storytelling and media as a tool to advocate against micro and macro forms of Gender Based Violence. It is our desire that as you watch our film today, you understand that people especially women and girls should be protected against gender based violence at all costs.

Pile of Rubbish is the flagship story of the Story for Change initiative, which officially launched on October 3rd with schools in District 1 (Agege-lyana Ipaja) in Lagos State. We had over a thousand students in attendance.
