Did three jobs same day before going to this last but nobody will know 😂😂😂.
Still wondering what came over me with the way I was chanting here boya because the celebrant is like a mother to me and I was free or maybe adrenaline from doing 3jobs.

I almost gave up on what God put in my hands
just because someone said
“My work doesn’t uphold the glory of God”

I almost believed it.

Until I understood:
Culture is not a sin.
Faith is not a cage.

Culture shouldn’t clash with religion.
And religion shouldn’t stop you from embracing your culture.
God doesn’t ask us to erase who we are to worship Him.

Your culture and your faith can sit at the same table.

I think many chanter— be it Muslim or Christian — have experienced this at least once.
