AN OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY, SENATOR BALA MOHAMMED ABDULKADIR.
Executive Governor of Bauchi State
By Comr Bulus Khunza'ar
Your Excellency,
We, the sons and daughters of the Zaar Sayawa people of Bogoro, Dass, and Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency, come before you today with respect, gratitude, and a heartfelt plea for justice.
Your Excellency, your name is known across Bauchi State and beyond as “Bala Justice.” That title was not given by chance. It was earned through years of standing for fairness, inclusivity, and the protection of the voiceless. Under your leadership, Bauchi has witnessed development, peace, and a renewed sense of belonging for all communities. Even our elders say that if our ancestors were here today, they would vote for you as our senator without hesitation, because you have done what leaders before you could not do. You have shown that power, when used rightly, heals wounds and builds bridges.
It is because of this reputation for justice that we bring our present concern to you with hope.
As the 2027 elections approach, we have learned of plans to impose a Jhar candidate for the House of Representatives seat representing Bogoro, Dass, and Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency, while Your Excellency yourself is our senatorial candidate from the Jhar tribe. If this arrangement stands, it means that one tribe will occupy both the senatorial and House of Representatives positions for our federal constituency.
Your Excellency, we are not asking for favoritism. We are asking for fairness. The Zaar Sayawa people have stood firmly with you, supported your vision, and contributed to the peace and progress of Bauchi State. All we seek now is the right to fair representation at the federal level.
We therefore humbly beg you, under your kind leadership and power, to allow Surveyor Alhamdu Daniel Sabo, our son and a man of proven integrity and capacity, to carry the mandate of the people as our representative in the House of Representatives. He understands our struggles, shares our aspirations, and has the competence to defend our interests in Abuja. Allowing him to represent us will not weaken your administration, it will strengthen it, because it will show the world that justice lives in Bauchi under your watch.
We are crying and begging for justice, not out of anger, but out of faith in you. We believe that a leader who has done so much good for all tribes will not close his ears to the cry of his people.
Your Excellency, let history record that under your time, equity was upheld, voices were heard, and every community had a seat at the table. Give the Zaar Sayawa people this chance, and you will secure not only our votes, but our loyalty, our prayers, and our gratitude for generations to come.
May God continue to guide you and grant you wisdom in all your decisions.
Respectfully submitted,
The Concerned Son.
