A brief biography of Baba Ara Music Producer
ADEDAPO JAMES FASANYA. (HND,AES)
PROFILE
Adedapo James Fasanya was born in Sagamu in Remo Ogun State.
He attended Remo Secondary School, Remo Ogun State. He proceeded to Ogun State Polytechnic Ojere, Ogun State. Where he had his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
He started music from the church choir where he also played lead and bass guitars perfectly.
Owing to quest for more knowledge about Audio and music production, he enrolled to be trained under Nelson Brown at the defunct EMI studio, Ikeja.
He later proceeded to study Audio Engineering at Starlight Media Institute (SMI) an offshoot of the world renowned Audio Engineering Society (AES).
Adedapo met and worked closely with the late gospel music sensational artiste Roland Olubukola Olomola (Baba Ara) thereby producing all his songs till the latter’s demise.
He has also produced and still producing songs for so many top artistes such as;
Abel Dosunmu (Mega 99), Amb. Segun Nabi, Oludare Olateju, Propt. Dr. Bisi Alawiye,
Wale Tecoma, Mr MTN, Jide Chord, Seun Aransiola, Hamood Alawiye, Ayeloyun, and so many others.
As a certified Audio Engineer, Bengo 2 has configured and still serving as consultant to so many Recording Studios like;
Ivory Music Limited, Ikeja.
String.Com Studio, Ibadan.
TAD Music Studio, Abeokuta.
Victorious Music Studio, Akure.
DMB Music Studio, Agege.
Audio Vybe Music Studio, Ayobo.
Twins Music Studio, Sagamu.
To mention but few.
He is presently the Audio Engineer at 16 Octave Music Studio Ltd, Ipaja.
The name Bengo 2 was given to him by the late ace comedian Gbenga Adeboye (Funwontan) who he also worked with at that time.
Bengo 2 is professional in Audio and Music Production and an ardent follower of due process. Ability to work under pressure is also one of strong skills.
He is happily married with kids.
