It’s Officially a wrap with African Female Art Mentorship Program. A 3months intense mentorship/residency program.

I am deeply grateful for this great opportunity organized by . It has really been a very informative and inspiring experience/sessions with my mentor Mr (He is absolutely what a mentor means).
Before the start of the program, I had a lot of personal challenges with my practice and through this medium I was able to channel all my disturbing questions,thoughts and listened carefully to every insightful knowledge shared both from my mentor & the Expert Advisers. Before the end of the program, every conversation sorted that out. Yes! It’s been an amazing journey.

To my fellow mentees, it’s been an incredible journey with you all. Haven learnt from you all too, it was an inspiring experience.

Still soaking in the energy from the opening at my duo art exhibition on Saturday 6th.
This season feels like standing in the middle of growth and stillness. It is a quiet unfolding for me. At the beginning of 2025, I set out to find my true voice as fabric artist, to speak powerfully through my medium. But as the year went on, I found myself slowing down and drifting between zeal and silence, between creating and contemplation. I wrestled with unfinished pieces, projects and dwelled in the moments of comfort that dulled my drive.
Yet, within that stillness, I wasn’t alone and it was a season of becoming, a part of journey that isn’t about perfection but about growth in quiet, beauty in the unfinished and strength in the times my spirit was quietly transforming.

This duo show has laid another important drive for me as I welcomed critiques, appreciations and opinions. Lots of energy coming in 2026.
