The Big Brother Naija show is one of the biggest entertainment platforms that wields so much influence which can boost the social capital of participants after the show ends. This list contains ex-housemates that have ridden on the back of the publicity they got from the reality TV show to their advantage, and have become popular for doing dreams/career.

10. Michael Efe Ejaba: the artist is known for popularizing the phrase, “based on logistics”. Efe won the second edition of BBNaija season 2 tagged “See Gobe” walking home with N25 million grand prize. From thereon, Efe ‘Warri-Boy’ decided to ride on the fame the reality show brought him to build his musical career with rap being his forte. The rapper released an EP called “Lagos EP”, and also collaborated with top music acts like Iceprince, BOJ, and has a song with rapper Olamide titled “Warri.” The graduate of the Faculty of Economics has released other songs like “Based on logistics” and “I love you.” He continues to pursue his music career to date.

9. Miracle Igbokwe: He is one of the three housemates in the history of BBNaija who trended from his first day in the house till the end. Following his emergence as winner of the bbnaija season 3 themed “Double Wahala” edition, Miracle, a native of Imo state left for South Africa to an Aviation school to fulfill his life-long dream to get training to become a professional and commercial pilot. He competed with 20 other housemates in the house to win the cash prize of N25 million and other prizes and benefits.

8. Gideon Okeke: Like Ebuka, Gideon Okeke is also an alumnus of the BBNaija platform. He was in the same house alongside the winner, Katung and Ebuka but didn’t win the show. He went on to focus on his acting talent and rose to become one of Nigeria’s finest thespians. He is a star actor on Africa Magic popular TV series, Tinsel and has established himself in Nollywood industry featuring in quite a number of movie.

7. Rebecca Nengi Hampson: is one of the most beautiful ladies to grace the season 5 of Big Brother Naija LockDown edition in 2020. The university of Portharcourt graduate is a model, beauty pageant title holder and actress, who emerged 2nd runner up of the reality show. At the end of the show, Nengi was given a state reception and was also honoured with a Government appointment by Bayelsa State Governor as Special Adviser and was also declared the role model to the Bayelsa State Girl Child (the Face of the Bayelsa Girl Child)

2. Bisola Aiyeola: One ex-housemate who has grown to become a delight on our TV screens. Before coming to the bbnaija house in 2017, Bisiola was one of the contestants at MTN Project Fame West Africa in 2008 where she came 5th and Iyanya won. The “See Gobe” edition of Big Brother Naija season 2 saw the talented super-star emerge as the first-runner up of the reality TV show in 2017. He picked up cooking experience at Lear Faye in East Vancouver before embarking on a trip back home.

Anytime this Nigerian born chef from Detroit is in the news, it is for his traveling dinner and dialogue series.
