I and a close colleague of mine (in this teaching s**t) was having a deep conversation few weeks ago, and then he asked:
"If you see a job offer that will pay you millions of naira, won't you go for it and leave teaching?"
My simple response: I will NEVER go for it (no matter how big it's).
Confession: You see, in the past, there was a time I was learning how to print and things around banner, stickers, and the rest (I hope you understand!).....
....where I was learning the skill, I still create time to teach children that lives around that compound. My boss next action? He started complaining and I know I can't leave teaching for anything in this life (NOT EVEN MY GF). What I did? I just STOPPED going.
Now, why am I tell you this? Chase profitable passion, you will become happy and there's nothing as fulfilling as that.
Hint: For the past few years I have been teaching, I have taught thousands of students, worked with over 30 parents to help their kids BECOME THE BEST (Funny part? They keep referring me), and of course I have worked with more than 10 different institutes.
Next? There is a saying but I have forgotten exactly how it is being stated, however, here's a rough message from the saying:
"A doctor wants to see you sick, so he can collect money. Again? A mechanic will always be glad to see your vehicles faulty because that is how he can make his money and it continues like that..... but it is ONLY a teacher...
I repeat: It's ONLY a teacher that will always look forward to seeing you succeed academically."
So yes, WITHOUT teachers, it is almost impossible to read and write.
It is amazing being a teacher and nothing can beat that.
Above all, CELEBRATE YOUR TEACHERS EVERYDAY AND TEACHERS CELEBRATE YOURSELF EVERYDAY.
