MEN ARE VERY AUDACIOUS.

So there was this guy in church some 3yrs ago, this guy hated me. Not because I did something wrong oo but simply because of how I laugh.
He boldly told me to my face that he hates how I laugh. Shock was an understatement for me.
Like sirrrr why exactly are you bothered about how I laugh? Wetin concern you sir?

Anyways I made a duty to always sit beside him every time we have activities in church. He hated that even more. I think his friends even knew about it and will always be laughing at us whenever I start laughing. To make matters worse for him, whenever we're meant to play any games, they'll pair us together for the task or make sure to put us in the same group 🤣 😂

Werey beging fall in love after a while oo said he likes that I'm always smiley lol.
Person wey no like me from start all of a sudden beging fall in love ehh 😄 😆

BIG MAN LIFE SWEET ABEG.

My boss woke up this morning, had his bath, got dressed and came downstairs for breakfast.
After his breakfast, he took off his clothes snd sank on the sofa 🛋, turned on the TV and after about 30minuute, he simply just slept off on the sofa. Work officially cancelled for today 🤣 😂
The kind of soft life I want to live mann.

The goal isn't to be extremely rich but rich enough to decide when I want to go to the office and when I feel too lazy and just sleep or rest at home.

There is male weaponized incompetence and there is an Inbuilt MALE incompetence.

So my Boss's kids were around during the last weekend.(boy 14ys and girl 12yrs).
They both came back from the boarding house on Friday. Because their rooms are usually clean, I didn't need to do much cleaning before they returned. I just mopped the floor and changed their sheets.
I dropped them off at their school yesterday morning, came back home snd went to girl's room first. Her room was almost the way she met it on Friday except for the duvet and her shoes that were left on the floor. I entered the bathroom and it was clean except ofcourse for the clothes she wore during the weekend. The only thing I did in her room was to arrange the bed and then pack out her laundry, mopped the floor and that was it. (I did not sweep it)

Went to the boy's room and it was a totally different thing entirely. His room was a mess. Clothes on the bed, some on the floor, floor was dirty, random papers on the floor. I couldn't just Mop like i did in the girl's room but had to sweep the room as though he used it for a whole week.

His wardrobe was a mess and I couldn't help but wonder if indeed men were born like this because with the way these kids were raised, this character isn't part of upbringing but an Inbuilt incompetence.

No one really talks about the workload house keepers carry. (Expecially in Nigeria).

A housemaid is expected to clean, cook,wash, run errands, take care of the kids and manage the home simultaneously while often being insulted in most cases and Working with very little food and pay.
You are also expected to understand the mood of your employers and tread carefully because they can easily transfer aggression to you for a very innocent questions asked. Sometimes, you will also be expected to help the kids with their school work ,make sure you coordinate them to behave even when they weren't raised to listen to helps domestic staffs.
No one cares weather you're fine or not as long as you do your Job. Everyone else considers their mood but no one bothers about the maid's mood.
Sometimes, I just mirror 🪞 what marriage looks like from my job experience and I can't help but get scared. Being a maid is a really exhausting task that people don't even understand.

So earlier today, my boss was in an interview and was asked about his family.
The interviewers asked him about his wife and what she does. He proudly mentioned that his wife is an investment banker and an Executive director in the bank she works with.

I couldn't help but imagine what he would have said if his wife was a stay at home wife lol.
I was abit motivated with his response because it further reinforced my goal of doing something tangible with my life before settling for any marriage proposal.

It also reminded me of one of our formal driver who resigned because according to him, "He cannot work with a man whose wife controls". I laugh everytime I remember that statement because first of all, Madam is more tolerant and patient than ogar. Secondly, This driver didn't even know how to use some of the cars in the house and ordinarily, ogar would not be that patient with him but Madam was and even taught him how to handle the cars. Lastly, This driver can lie for Africa chai.
And the funny thing??? He had pride that is bigger than his pocket.

One day, on my way back from VI, I met him at lekki gate. He was trekking to Oniru. Him don black like charcoal and looked really exhausted like someone whom life has really delt with.
