I am called Genesis of Rhymes, but my official name is John Moses. I am a music producer, graphic designer, video director and a performing artiste.

I started music in 2003, recorded my first song in 2004 and went into music production in 2006. What inspired me to do music was my passion for music I grew up singing on my way to school and music was a good company. Back then, I was doing my diploma in Law at university of Jos and also spending my free time in the studio mostly night sessions.

In my early days as a producer I had only a desktop and I use to make beats for 1500 after making the beat I will take the artiste to any studio and buy time to record and mix. My first studio gadgets were desktop system, normal home speakers and a church mic.

In 2008 I settled down fully in Lafia as a producer working with late Israel X in his studio. As an undergraduate at Nasarawa state University Keffi in 2010 I had my home studio in my off campus small apartment, from where I was able to raise money to build my studio.

Today as a graduate who holds BSc in psychology I make a living from music production. I've produced the likes of Magnito, BOC, Ozee, Mc Rolex, Suspi, Shekz, MacJamez, Adams swagg, Elbo and lots more.

I started graphic designing and video editing in 2013 as a hobby and finally decided to make it part of my career after making N80,000 from my first video deal 2015.

Some Artistes think music is only for fun. Some of them don't take time to write their songs they just freestyle which make their songs less than what it would have been if written and practiced. Some artistes also don't like motivating the producer by paying the required session fee. At the end the producer is left with just a change after the jobs is done.

I advise the readers to be consistent in what you do; don't give up when the going gets rough. Set for yourself a goal and never lose focus.

My Name is Abayi Augustine, a young talented artist/painter/art instructor from Nasarawa state. I was born in Abuja and I am the first child in a family of six. I am a Pencil artist, painter, and arts instructor.

I attended Mater Misericordia Nursery and primary school Nyanya Abuja where I got my first school leaving certificate and then proceeded to St. John Bosco secondary school for secondary education. From 2011 to 2013, I attended Federal polytechnic Nasarawa where I obtained a National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology. I am currently a final year student of Federal University Lafia, where he is studying Biochemistry.

I've always had the passion to be an artist despite being a science student. I started drawing at a very young age for fun initially but had to stop at a point to concentrate on my studies. I started drawing/painting professionally in 2016. My mum supported me fully when I was ready to start. She encouraged me and gave me money for art materials. In doing so, she became his biggest motivation.

Tragedy struck on the 20th day of September 2018 when my mum died after a brief illness. I lost focus and nearly gave up because she was the reason I was working hard. 10 months later, my Dad followed in a car accident making me and my 3 siblings orphans.
Nevertheless, I continued to strive for success. I pay for my school fees from the little commissions I receive even before the death of my parents.

I came first in an art/craft competition that involved over 90 artists from 11 states which was held in Kaduna by SMEDAN(Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria). I have been receiving commissions from clients all over the country and beyond. My works are in homes in the UK, Spain, Australia, to mention a few.

The major challenge for me has always been funding myself and my siblings through school because I know how important education is.

Key advice to everyone reading this is to be strong and shun negativity. Always try to avoid procrastination. Whatever you are good in; do it now

I am Ombugadu Mary Abye. Daughter of Engineer Akawu Ombugadu Boka and Mrs. Anna Ombugadu, from Nasarawa Eggon Local government, Mada Station - Ikka Wangibi. I am the first of five children, I have two brothers and two sisters.

I am a commercial pilot.
I work for a private airline, providing scheduled and charter services across Nigeria, based in Lagos.

I attended Eliztor Private School Barkin Ladi, St. Louis College Jos and the foremost Nigeria College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, where I enrolled into the standard pilot course, SP-25.

Unfavorable weather conditions was my biggest challenge in flying school because when one is ready for a check ride and is grounded for a couple of days due weather, it almost always meant you would do a review flight with your flying instructor before eventually going once the check flight, believing the waiting may have gotten you rusty, thereby extending the period of your training. I over come that by using the waiting period to study my course handbooks.

You can be anything you want and achieve all your dreams. Decide what you want early in life, go for it and you can have it. It is never too late to start over again should you fall out of love with what you are doing currently. It is a world of opportunities out here. You are the owner of your vision, so do not sit around getting upset when people do not see things from your perspective but patiently explain, help them to understand so they can invest in you. You cannot change where you have been, the past, but can most certainly change where you are going, the future.

Mary Ombugadu.

My name is Luka Istifanus Stephen, popularly called Dator, I am a professional graphics Designer and the CEO of Dator Graphics. Growing up I saw my Dad taking pictures (while He was a photographer when was still working with the Nigerian Police), so I had this natural love I have always got for images which leads me to have my industrial attachment done a photography studio (Take Me Images) the best photo studio in Lafia then, I always want to deal with images.

When I got my first Laptop, my elder brother install Photoshop (a photo editing software) for me, and showed me the little he knows about the software, it was more of photo correction, so I developed interest in learning more, after a while I could roughly change a picture backgrounds and add some funny write ups.

I was doing very well that after my I.T the studio had to retain me to be doing a per time job, I was very happy and I accepted the offer though the salary wasn't really big, I work with them for two months and I had to quit because it was a kind of affecting my studies, but I always go there and help each time am chanced.

Coming back to school, I had something I wanted , I can edit pictures, but it's not really giving me money, so I began to really pick interest in learning graphics design, but there was nobody I could ask how to go about it, so I began to use Google out information and tutorials on how to do certain things. I can say that I am a self-taught graphics designer. I wasn't discovered not until I did an event poster for Prime Access Dance crew in 2015, gradually I started working for FOG (Suspi) to be specific, had some series of work with them, then I was actually collecting N200 - N300 per job, the first job that got me excited was a N500 naira job I got from Suspi.

Today graphics design is meeting my immediate needs and putting food on my table.

Mr. Envoh Emmanuel Okolo was born in the late 80s to the family of Envoh A. Emmanuel on 24th March. He is an indigene of Lafia LGA of Nasarawa state. He is the First among Seven children; sadly he lost a sister. He started his education at ERCC Central Church Nursery and Primary School, Lafia (1991-1999) then proceeded to St John Bosco Secondary school, Doma, (1999-2002) then Federal Science College, Sokoto (2003-2005). He said "I couldn't secure University admission that same year so I enrolled at Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia for my IJMB 2005-2006".
In 2006 he got admission at Nasarawa state University, Keffi to study Microbiology. He graduated from University in 2010. He recounted some challenges he faced during school. In his words he pointed out "Leaving lectures some time hustle through typing of students project, assignments, course form registration" and "Late graduation from school with my mates due to a couple of carryovers, financial challenges" after how he did not participate in NYSC with his mates after university. These experiences can be very traumatising but one must imbibe the habit of keeping on.
Mr Envoh did not let what seemed like set backs withdraw his passion and drive towards education. He went on to his postgraduate program at Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi 2015-2018.
His life is one that is inspiring. He wasn't born into a life of luxury which has placed a lot of demands on meeting up in life for him. In his words, "I started life with a lot of difficulties some of which include the inability for my parents to pay my fee on time along side my siblings and growing up in one of the poorest neighborhoods".
Most of us would expect the sad tragedy of defeat with these much challenges in the life of one person but not from Mr. Envoh. His passion and drive has kept him on his feet.
He is one of the few persons who are advocates for a right course to health and other developmental issues.
He is the Executive Director/Founder of Beacon Youth Initiative (BYI) which was established on the 5th of September 2011 with the support of a group of individuals who were committed to giving their time and youthful energy to address the very issues that he has been passionate about which include rapidly increasing problem of emerging diseases such as Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis, Ebola as well as other emerging diseases that has crippled the healthy state of the community and as well ignorant of some of the emerging disease which are prevalent in the area.
His NGO work with poor, marginalized and excluded communities to promote pro- poor activities at all levels, Pro Health Activities, and Pro Education and other support for the Marginalized.
They have embarked on several projects which includes(amongst an array of plenty);
- Awareness for free Hepatitis B&C screening to 120 participates and vaccines administration to 70 non reactive clients. 22nd December, 2013.
- HCT to 80 participates in Awonge Village, Lafia North, Nasarawa State. 6th December, 2013.
- Sensitization on effects of drug abuse among the youth and community members of Aridi community, Lafia, Nasarawa State in Partnership with ICS/VSO. 22nd November, 2013.
His active participation in functioning as a part of the selfless reformers of our society has earned him several travels around the world. In his words, "I have travelled to over 13 European and African countries some of which are UK (Scotland), Brazil (Sao Paulo), South Africa, Egypt, Senegal, Gambia, Côte d voile, etc".

He is still actively participating in very tremendous life changing societal duties and doing auch with so much vigour.
It is so amazing to know that where one comes from has nothing to do with where on is headed. From growing up in one of the poorest neighbourhoods around to adding value to his society and travelling around the world fulfilling same, Mr. Envoh's story is one that is truly reassuring and inspiring.

Do not stop working hard, do not give up, stay focused and keep pushing.

Stay on top of you game today. There are lots of people who look up to you; do not let them down. INSPIRE!
