"Think carefully: Azikiwe was born in 1904, Awolowo was born in 1909, Balewa was born in 1912. So who, amongst them, was even alive to sign the 1914 Amalgamation document?
"No Nigerian did".

That’s the point our so-called 'founding fathers' were children when the British drew lines around us.

Colonialists didn't ask for our permission; they simply handed us a country we never agreed to, and then dared us to call it ours.

Yes-long before the arrival and spread of Islam, the Kakanda people had a well-defined and culturally rich system of dressing that reflected their identity, environment, and social structure.

Kakanda clothing in earlier times was largely indigenous, symbolic, and practical, shaped by the riverine environment around the Niger–Benue confluence. Stay tuned as we actualize this research together.
