D'ate' Culture Foundation presents the second annual Kaduna Performance Festival April 4-8, 2022 in Kaduna, Nigeria. Kaduna Performance Festival (KPF) is a gathering for Kaduna-based performance artists. The festival is centered around collaboration and storytelling, and aimed at creating greater community between young, emerging performance artists in Kaduna State. KFP welcomes performance artists from fields of dance, theatre, music, performance art and other related forms. The five-day line-up will feature performances, lectures, jam sessions, networking opportunities, workshops and other events.

Madam Rita Hussaini is a dancer/ choreographer and costumier with the Kaduna state ministry of culture and tourism in the office of the cultural Ministry Kaduna,  she has been dancing for 32years now and has feature in local and international festivals in the USA, Germany, Ghana, Niger, Benin Republic. She has won international awards for best dancer in Best dancer/costumer Germany National festival of arts and culture Nigeria, Super Mama of the who 9seasons Maltina family dance competition.

We are excited to be collaborating with many artists and organizations to do a performance festival in Kaduna!🕺🏽🕺🏽▶️🌞⚡🔥

So much to experience and the official premiere of Re:incarnation by Lagos currently touring Nigeria will be screened.

We hope that this message finds you safe and well during this difficult time.

In light of the Nigerian government banning travel from countries that have 1,000+ cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19), D'até Culture Foundation has decided to postpone D'até Festival 2020 (April 22-26, 2020).
We are saddened to share this news, but respect the decision to prioritize the health of all Nigerians, as well as our global neighbors.

Our team is deliberating alternative dates, and we hope to have more information by the end of the month pending the Nigerian government travel review and the global containment of the virus. Stay tuned to our FB and IG for all updates!
