I LOST MY AUNT ON THE DAY OF MY GRADUATION

27 - OCTOBER -2024 Is one day I won't forget in a hurry

I remember vividly how the day went
How that I was moody even in church... Something kept feeling off..

I was literally shading tears at some point
Some of my friends,my mom and cousin were texting to cheer me up

Our pastor even called my name from upstage to ask if I was fine

Fast forward to after service... Forced a smile to take photos I never posted on the Internet

Maaya was with me all day... Thanks a lot mama 🙏

Then came the call... I heard my mom scream that I woke like it was a dream but it wasn't...
My aunt was gone
Big mummy had passed 😭😭

The last time we were together she cautioned me to not graduate with anything lesser than a 2nd class upper degree. I did big mummy but you didn't even wait till the results were out

Yesterday we were at the village for your 1 year remembrance and I decided to wear the clothes I wore on the day you passed

I couldn't bring myself to wear it again until yesterday but with a different blouse in honor of your memory

I miss you
We miss you but Big Daddy misses you even more

Keep resting in peace big mummy
