Sometimes, all it takes is being in the right room, meeting the right people and hearing something that makes you see life differently.

That's one reason you shouldn't joke with opportunities to learn and connect with people.

This December, Exlora Lead Global is bringing us together again for the Leadership Assembly. It's an opportunity to learn, share ideas, meet new people and build relationships that can help us grow.

IF YOU HAVE A VISION, YOU NEED PEOPLE.

You can have a great idea.
You can have talent.
You can be hardworking.

But you cannot do everything alone.

At some point, you will need someone who knows what you don't know. Someone who has gone ahead of you. Someone who can introduce you to an opportunity, teach you something, or simply encourage you when things get tough.

That is why networking is important.

And networking isn't just about knowing plenty of people.

It is about building genuine relationships.

Don't only look for what you can gain from people. Ask yourself, “What value can I bring too?”

As a young person with a vision, don't be afraid to enter rooms where you don't know anyone.
Talk to people. Learn. Listen. Connect.

You never know which conversation could become an important part of your journey.

Today’s Leadership Clinic at Exlora Lead Global left us thinking about something we don't talk about enough: knowing yourself.

During the session with Sir Joseph MJ, we were challenged to look inward and ask ourselves some honest questions.

What makes me different?

What gift has God given me?

What do I have that others may not have?

Sometimes, we find comfort in being like everyone else. We look at what others are doing and feel like we should do the same. But the truth is, your similarity may give you comfort, but your uniqueness is what you can build with.

There is something about you that is yours.

A gift.
An ability.
An experience.
A perspective.
A strength.

You don't have to become a copy of someone else. You need to discover what is already inside you and be willing to develop it.

And when it comes to growth, You have to be willing to learn, make adjustments, try again and keep getting better.

Master the gift you have been wired with.

Another thing that stood out was the conversation around identity.

When you don't really know who you are, it is easy to struggle with comparison, jealousy, frustration and even pretending to be someone you are not.

And this is where knowing God becomes important.

You can know many things about yourself, but knowing the One who created you gives you a deeper understanding of who you are.

The One who created you knows why He created you.

So, self-discovery is not just about looking inward. It is also about seeking God and allowing Him to show you the person He created you to become.

Today’s session reminded us that we shouldn't spend our life trying to fit into someone else's identity.

Discover yours. Develop it. Live it.

There is greatness in you.

But you have to be willing to discover it and grow into it.

This is part of what we do at Exlora Lead Global create spaces where people can learn, think differently, discover themselves and become more intentional about their growth and leadership.

And honestly, today's session gave us a lot to think about.
