1/ Google Analytics Certification
What you learn: How to read website traffic, track conversions, and prove which marketing actually worked. The baseline for any marketing or e-commerce role.
Time: 4 to 6 hours.
Certificate: Free, official Google credential. Renews every 12 months.
Where: Search "Google Skillshop" and pick Google Analytics.
2/ HubSpot Academy
What you learn: Inbound marketing, email, content, sales, and CRM. Recruiters in marketing know these certifications by name.
Time: 3 to 5 hours per course.
Certificate: Free, and it adds to your LinkedIn in one click. Multiple certifications are available, so you can stack them.
Where: Search "HubSpot Academy."
3/ freeCodeCamp
What you learn: Real coding. Responsive web design, JavaScript, data analysis with Python, and back-end development.
Time: Around 300 hours per certification. This is the serious one.
Certificate: Completely free with no paywall. Includes a verifiable link for your resume.
Where: Search "freeCodeCamp certifications."
4/ Microsoft Learn
What you learn: Azure, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft 365 administration. These are the tools many companies already use.
Time: 2 to 10 hours per learning path.
Certificate: Free digital badges you can display on LinkedIn. Paid certification exams are available if you want to take them later.
Where: Search "Microsoft Learn training."
5/ IBM SkillsBuild
What you learn: AI fundamentals, cybersecurity, data analysis, and cloud computing, taught from a business perspective rather than a purely technical one.
Time: 10 to 20 hours per learning track.
Certificate: Free IBM digital badge issued through Credly. Employers and HR systems can verify it.
Where: Search "IBM SkillsBuild."
