Our Pre-Conference Engagement on Introduction to Model United Nations & Global Diplomacy will be led by Karimot Odebode, lawyer, education advocate, poet, and global youth leader.

From contributing to the United Nations General Assembly to being recognised as one of the UN's 17 Young Leaders for the SDGs, Karimot has spent years working at the intersection of education, leadership, and global development.

If you've been curious about Model United Nations, diplomacy, or how young people can engage with global affairs, this is a conversation you don't want to miss.

Behind every successful conference is a team of people making it happen and IFEMUN 2026 is no different.

Volunteer applications are now open, and we're looking for passionate, curious, and committed students who want to help shape the upcoming conference. Whether your strengths are in writing, design, research, logistics, planning, or working with people, there's a place for you.

Available departments: Communications & Publicity, Conference & Operations, Delegate Affairs, Sponsorship & Partnership, Media & Designs.

Applications are primarily open to OAU students, while students from other institutions are welcome to express their interest.
