Powerful works of prayer 6
Read Acts. 12:5-7
Memory Verse
Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
Exposition
God is still in the business of the miraculous, nothing can be too hard for Him to do!
We shall continue our series today, THE POWERFUL WORKS OF PRAYER.
Today, we'll hold firmly to the verse 5 of Acts. 12, "prayer was made without ceasing of the Church into God for Peter".
They prayed earnestly, fervently, and without ceasing.
How are we also praying today, is it with fervency?
In FERVENT prayers, FAITH resides, prayers of faith has fervency and without Faith, no one can receive anything from God.
I implore you to start praying with fervency today. Always pray fervently, and with faith, then your prayers shall be answered.
Fervency has unity in it, there is unity in the spirit when you pray fervently. In the unity of the spirit resides fervency.
If you pray fervently with faith and in unity, your prayers can't be hindered. Such prayer is unstoppable.
The early church prayed fervently, with faith and in unity over Peter and we could see the outcome:
Peter was in the prison a night before his day of ex*****on, just a night before his ex*****on, but thank God because He is a God that works with time, He knows the perfect timing to rescue His own, but the enemies always come late.
•• God can never come late, it is the enemies that always come late.
They only campaign after election.
Brethren, you are already announced as the winner, but your enemies will campaign after the election.
By the time Herod got to the prison, Peter had already been rescued by the Angel of the Lord.
Why did Herod not come before Peter was rescued?
If Herod could be late even with his soldiers, your enemies can't but come late.
Peter escaped death, you shall also escape death.
I learnt a lesson in the life of Peter pertaining to this incident, with all Peter was passing through, the scriptures said, "Peter slept between two soldiers".
With all this troubles Peter could still sleep, this is what I call 'Faith'. He had Faith in the powerful One.
Whenever you find your self in an unpalatable situation, always be at peace.
When you are going through torrid seasons, cry not, give Satan not that joy he can derive fro your wailing.
CRY NOT.
Peter never sat down and start chiding God about his situation
It is not time for murmuring now, it is the time to raise up your faith.
Do not blaspheme God.
Peter knew that James died in a circumstance as this, yet his mind was at rest.
Let your mind be at rest.
Sleep!
Let your mind be at peace.
The angel of the Lord is with you!
Prophetic Declarations
The spirit to pray fervently with faith and unity is release into your life
Your enemies will always come late.
Wherever the enemies has lay about for you, they are late already because you have pass over.
You shall escape death
Your family members shall escape death
All those looking for ways to end your life, you shall know their end.
The angle of the Lord shall work with you today!
Your enemies shall fail.
You shall not cry this month.
