“Something tells me that I am killÃng my own son. He is not happy with everything am doing, I thought I was doing something good for him. Agatha said.
“Don’t tell me you are having a second thought all because your son refused to talk to you. He is just a kid, he will son understand that you are doing what is good for him. Mrs Veronica convinced.
“What kind of best is this? The best should make him happy and not sad and angry. I think I would have to let him be with his choice.
“No. Not now that you have won the fight, why are you giving up so soon, you already defeated that pregnant thing called Ijeoma. Veronica said.
“Stop calling this a fight. I am not fighting my own son. Thanks for your advice but this has to stop. All I want is the best for Alex. And what would make him happy. So if he say the pregnant woman is what he wants then let it be so. I want to have a good relationship with my son and not fight his life. Mrs Agatha said.
“Agatha if you give up on this then you are nothing but a looser. Common!!!
“Am a looser already. I lost a very important part of my life. I can’t walk no more. That should be an enough thing to lose. I can’t afford to loose my only son or my life too. Like I said thanks for the advice. Agatha said to Veronica.
“So you have decided to let him marry the pregnant woman. How does it feel to know that your first grandchild is not biological your grandchild. Veronica asked.
Mrs Agatha was a little bit touched by the question. It was true. Ijeoma’s unborn baby would not be her own biological grandchild.
“Yes the child won’t be my biological grandchild. What is important here is that my sons will be happy in his marriage. Agatha said.
At this point Veronica could clearly understand that all her efforts in convincing Agatha was now becoming like a waste.
