*CAMAA Salon UI Hosts Exhibition of Paintings and Literary Works*

The turnout at the opening was quite impressive. UI staff and students, including members of IFRA and CBAAB, the general public and students from Leeds International School graced the occasion. A child, Master Isaac Awofisibe, from Cheshire Home, showed up with mum and a minder and was respectfully introduced to a thunderous applause. He became an instant star guest. By and large a successful outing and we are grateful to all members of staff, particularly the Visual Arts Unit, for the creativity, energy and time. As the day wore off and the crowd started thinning out Fela Kuti's reiterative and responsorial horns could be heard crooning in the background... ---Sola Olorunyomi.
