IKIRUN STOOD STILL FOR MAMA JANET @ 75 🎉👑

When Hon. Adetunji Abidemi of Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency, 10th National Assembly, throws a party, the whole town feels it.

Ikirun was shut down as friends, families, royals, and political heavyweights gathered to celebrate his mother, Mrs. Janet Adetunji @ 75.

Glory everywhere with several royal fathers present for the day, the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly representing Gov. Ademola Adeleke Jackson, and other top dignitaries who came to honor a matriarch.

Right now, the ancient city of Ilesa stands still. We’re live at the final reception for *Mama Dame Eunice Mouo’oreoluwa Kayode JP, KJW, MFR (Née Fakande)* — fondly called *Mama Onorato*.

She owned Omotayo Maternity Home, Evergreen — the most popular maternity home in Ibadan that delivered generations. Yet at heart, she remained a proud Ijesha woman, rooted in her heritage.

Tears, prayers, and gratitude fill the air as family, dignitaries, and the people of Ilesa gather to celebrate a life of honor, service, and legacy. The weight of history is here, but so is the warmth of love.

Pastor Mrs. Rose Adeoti Adesina @ 85 — Retired Teacher, powerful Orator, Disciplinarian, and Grandma of high culture. From the solemn Thanksgiving to the joyful reception, every portrait told a story of discipline, dignity, and divine grace.

PerfectDestiny Photography | Documenting History

We were honored to stand with BFF - Best Friends Forever - at the foot of Erin-Ijesha Waterfalls, Olumirin, as they marked their 2025 yearly holiday.

BFF is a circle of like-minded professionals, 10+ years strong.
Fewer than 20 members, all above 40, spread across different states in Nigeria yet bound by one thing: high esteem for each other’s dreams and the discipline to support them. Doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, educators - different fields, one heartbeat.

For this year’s retreat, the convener and leader Tony Fuga led the group to Osun State. Erin-Ijesha, discovered in 1140 AD, with its seven cascading tiers, holds deep historical, cultural, and spiritual weight for the Yoruba people. And BFF met it with the same reverence.

We at PerfectDestiny Photography were there to capture more than photos. We documented history. The laughter at the base of tier one. The climb, the grit, the teamwork as they moved up each level together. The quiet moments where professionals who lead in boardrooms became students again, in awe of a wonder older than centuries.

This wasn’t just a holiday. It was legacy in motion - friendship tested by time, strengthened by shared adventure, and sealed at Olumirin’s waters.

UCH Ibadan | A Legacy of Giving Back

Honored that PerfectDestiny Photography documented the historic commissioning of an 88-room resident doctors’ hostel at University College Hospital, Ibadan.

The edifice was built by Dr. Philip O. Ozuah, Nigerian-born pediatrician, President & CEO of Montefiore Medicine, New York, who oversees 13+ hospitals and 300 clinical sites. A proud alumnus of UCH, Dr. Ozuah built this facility as his contribution to the institution that shaped his foundation.

The commissioning had in attendance the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, UCH Provost, and Mr. Bayo Olaniyan FINQS, RQS, PQS - the builder of the hostel.

From New York to Ibadan, impact transcends borders. This is what giving back looks like.
