Nostalgic School Days βœοΈπŸ˜‚
I remember those days when we used to write our names on little pieces of paper and tuck them inside our pens for identification. πŸ˜‚ I can never forget how we also used sharp objects to inscribe our names directly on our pens, thinking that would make them impossible to steal!
But did you know that even all those precautions couldn’t stop some smarter β€œgbewiri” among us from making our pens disappear? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Did you also do this during your school days? Or did you have another method of protecting your precious pen? πŸ˜„

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ INTER-HOUSE SPORTS: THE SEASON WE ALL LOOKED FORWARD TO! πŸ˜‚πŸ’°
Inter-house Sports season was one of the most exciting periods of school activities back then. But let me tell you somethingβ€”πŸ€£πŸ€£ it was also cash-out season, especially for female students who knew the way, some teachers, and even the school typist!
Now, you may be wondering: β€œWait o! How did the typist cash out?” πŸ˜‚
Let me explain!
Apart from the official invitation letters that the school management gave us to distribute, many of us female students would buy packs of envelopes and take them to the typist. We would pay the typist to type our own special invitation messages on them, which we would then distribute to our parents, relatives, friends, neighbours and other loved ones.
And guess what? Some of us were serious businesswomen! 🀣🀣
We knew exactly who to send the envelopes to, how many to send, and how to make sure the money kept coming in. πŸ’°πŸ˜‚
The funny thing is that Inter-house Sports wasn't just about march-past, athletics, cheering and house competitions. For some of us, it was also a season of strategy, networking and serious small-girl entrepreneurship! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Looking back now, those were really memorable days. ❀️
Did you also do this when you were in school?
Did you have your own little way of β€œcash-out” during Inter-house Sports season? πŸ˜‚

Remembering Our School Mothers πŸ’œ
In those days, we used to have school mothers. πŸ₯°
We chose them by writing letters to them, almost like an application. Our school mothers were mostly our senior students, either within our school or sometimes even outside our school.
The excitement we felt when our letters were accepted was something else! πŸ˜‚ It was as if we had won a jackpot! Once we received that acceptance letter, we would be so happy and proud. πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½
Some of these school mothers were incredibly kind. They would provide so many things for us and look after us in their own special way. In return, we also helped them with house chores and other little things.
Looking back now, it was such a beautiful part of growing up and experiencing school life. ❀️
But let me ask you:
πŸ‘‰ Did you have a school mother during your time?
πŸ‘‰ Did male students also participate in this school motherism?
πŸ‘‰ Was there anything like school fathers too? πŸ˜‚
Please share your experience in the comments. I really want to hear your stories! πŸ‘‡πŸ½β€οΈ
