Happy Independence Day to our fellow Nigerians!

As we celebrate our nation's freedom and sovereignty, PorkFest Nigeria, a subsidiary of Kounty Agrotourism Farm Park Limited, joins the nation in rejoicing over the vast potential that lies within our great country.

At PorkFest Nigeria, we're passionate about showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Tiv people, particularly the significance of pigs in our traditions. In Tiv land, pigs play a vital role in bride price, and pork cuisine is highly valued. Our objectives are:

- Promoting Pork Production: We aim to encourage pork production and standards in the industry, recognizing deserving farmers for their hard work and outstanding qualities.

- Empowering Youth: We'll expose young people to new opportunities in the pork value chain industry through workshops and demonstrations.

- Cultural Exchange: Our festival will celebrate our agricultural heritage, honor pork producers, and leaders in the community, while promoting the positive social and economic impact of the pork industry.

- Tourism Boost: We seek to boost tourism and recreation through the celebration of the pork festival, engaging, entertaining, and unifying our rural communities.

- Culinary Innovation: We are encouraging restaurants and chefs to be more creative in developing pork cuisines, recipes, and sauces.

- Charitable Works: Our festival will also focus on charitable works, giving back to the community.

As we celebrate our independence, we urge the government and her agencies to support festival organizers and stakeholders with grants to promote and conserve our cultural heritage.

Together, we can unlock the potential of our agricultural sector, promote cultural exchange, and drive economic growth.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! May this celebration mark the beginning of a brighter future for our nation.
