Some people's relationship with Godis church limited. That is why you can see them waxing cold in this period. It has always been characteristic of the church (belivers) to get even more deeper in times of oppression of any sort but here we are facing an oppression (pendemic) and supposed Christians are just offing like Nepa light.
A pandemic is laying a siege on the whole world and we look on as though we are helpless. Just as it written in Isaiah 42:22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
It is now time that you ask yourself if that theatrical display you have been doing since, that you gymnastic you perform in church; Alter or aisle, is it true relationship with God. If it truly is, what have you done to strengthen it? If it is not, what are you doing to find true relationship with God.
Atimes when the scriptures uses the word Heart, I see it as , that is why psalms say a fool's honest conviction is that there is no God and Romans said that upon confessing Jesus as Lord, a believer registers the honest conviction in his heart that Jesus is Alive by God through resurrection.
What conviction do you have now?
Yes...right now.
The prophets of old commanded incredible happenings
Elijah had rain to seize for 3.5 years
Joshua had the earth and the moon stopped until the nation had her vengeance
I chose these two because they depict events that had more than a region in focus...even the whole earth and it is written in 2 Corinthians 13:1 that In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. If we have the capacity to function in a better testament, a better proximity, a higher standing with God as hinted by Jesus saying in Luke 7:28 "For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he." What then are doing?
Wouldn't you rather brace up and find out the glit h in this our Christianity?
It is time to go hard or go home
Remain Ever Blessed
