Talking about unity in marriage.
'No marriage is perfect' yes you heard me right. Please don't be pressured and deceived by what you see on this space.

I know I have not been long on this journey of marriage but here is what I have to share from the little I have learnt from it concerning unity in marriage.

Personally, I think unity is essential in every marriage, As couples, even when you're both not in talking terms and steps out together, it is very important that you both maintain composure and be ready to have each other's back and not be against each other or having to wash your dirty linens out there in public.

The truth is, once you give the enemy room to enter, it strikes immediately. Avoid third parties for your marriage to thrive. Once a third party, especially the ones with bad intentions for you notices the disunity between you and your spouse, they won't hesitate to act. They embrace the opportunity they have been waiting for, for so long, bad advice akaria🤦🏾‍♀️🤧and you don't have to give them that chance.

All I'm trying to convey in essence is, "Always have your partner's back while outside when not in good terms, 'cause in all honesty it's not always very sweet🫶🏾 but a very beautiful journey with the right one❤️

Still on the Tech event I attended the other day, one of the topics that truly caught my enthusiasm is the GROWTH MINDSET.

The following are my key notes from the lecture.

-Both success and failure starts from the mind.

-Rewire your self talk: whenever you hear I'm not good at this, always include this powerful word, "yet". Your words shape your reality.

-Embrace the process: enjoy every bit of the journey to your greatness.

-Our environment shapes the way we think: surround yourself with growth. You're whatever you listen to. Your brain, your whole mindset is shaped towards what you let into you.

-No one is ever born with a growth mindset, you develop it.

-Always remember, every challenge you face is a chance to choose growth.

-Every effort you make today is a deposit on your future self😊

I love learning, I truly love to acquire more and more knowledge. I'm 100% open and willing to learn. I know there is something to learn from a 70 year old as well as from a 2 year old.

TECH EVENT thank you for this opportunity. I look forward to more interesting and educating gatherings like this.

I learnt that there is a well defined gap between a "Small business" and a "Start up" from the event I attended last week.

According to the speaker, a business that is literally small by mere looking at it can be a start up if the said business has a future prospect, and if it's innovative, is running differently from others and stands out among others by the services it renders.

While on the other hand a business which is literally big, I mean a very huge business can be a small business and not a start up, this is because it does nothing differently, it's basically running in exchange of money for goods.

In these two, you can see that in today's world, businesses that offer value, I mean exceptional value to their proposed clients are the start ups.

I hope you have learnt one or two from this post today and I also hope you choose wisely 😊
