🚨 CLARIFICATION NOTICE 🚨
Recently, a post has been circulating online claiming that a 14-year-old boy graduated from a Nigerian university. The pictures attached to that viral post are of Edime Boniface Ojonugwa, a proud graduate of the Department of Mass Communication.

Boniface has reached out personally to correct the false claims being spread with his pictures. In his own words:

"Good evening, please I am the boy who other blogs are posting as a 14-year-old boy that graduated. Please, it’s true I graduated from the university but I am not 14 years old. I am way older than that age. I will appreciate it if that false news is disregarded."

We celebrate Boniface’s success as a graduate, a journey that took hard work, dedication, and perseverance. However, it’s important that the right story is told. Misinformation doesn’t only affect credibility, it also overshadows the true achievements of students like him.

Let’s honor and congratulate Edime Boniface Ojonugwa for his real and inspiring success, not with false headlines, but with the truth. 🎓👏

Meet Rear Admiral Jamila Abubakar Sadiq Malafa (Rtd), a trailblazing international maritime lawyer and the first female Commodore in the history of the Nigerian Navy.

She began her journey in 1988 when she joined the Navy and was commissioned as a midshipman in 1990. With resilience and dedication, she steadily climbed the ranks, making history in December 2017 as the first Northern woman to be promoted to the rank of Commodore.

Her remarkable career reached another pinnacle in December 2022 when she was elevated to the prestigious rank of Rear Admiral. She officially retired in March 2023, leaving behind a legacy of courage, excellence, and leadership in the Nigerian Armed Forces.

A true inspiration to many, especially women across the country.
