Time heals. We must learn to trust it. When you look upon this painting I want you to be reminded of the composure you must maintain when an injury is being treated. The pain you feel is real, maybe you should stop trying to ignore it and start accepting that it is healing as time continues its treatment.

Pleased to announce to you that my Work Peace in Chaos has been published on the official Website of The 39th Chelsea international Fine Art competition in 🇺🇸 . And I was awarded with this Certificate which means quite a lot and is only a push for more creativity and story telling.
Who would have imagined that consistently scrubbing from as far back as I can remember in our then compound will bring me this far?.

Well it's only the beginning of beautiful things and it's wonderful to see my pieces gaining international recognition.

Perplexity: This piece captures the state of confusion that depression and other mental health issues can cause.
In this piece the confusion and Emotions in my muses face is a direct contrast to her surrounding and the beauty around her. In Fair weather where leaves blossom, some hearts bleed and minds wonder restlessly.
Her self imposed silence ; a failed attempt to show she's Ok, or as we say "I'm fine" when the reality is we are everything else except fine.
The mixed emotions and feelings of anger, pain, jealousy, rage, sadness, vulnorability and pure frustration that can be felt when facing a challenge that seems far bigger than can be handled.

The reality remains that every human will face such state at some point and my hope is that my
audience access this piece in the view that they or anyone going through such difficult ordeal is
not any less strong.The goal for this is to encourage individuals to embrace their weaknesses,
learn from it and fully accept it as a phase that eventually will come to an end as they strive to
overcome the struggle within.

Pastel Chalk on Strawboard.

For me Creating this was a way to express my thoughts on the concept of hope. The ability to live in a memory we may have not been able to actually live in. I call it a memory because somewhere deep in your recesses there's a place you visit when you feel locked up, caged or trapped by the happenings or situations around you. That place where regardless of the turmoil or sadness you feel, every frame seems to say It will be well.
In this location that you have been to many times, doubts get swallowed up, fears diminish, courage builds up, And with it comes strength to look ahead to try again.
This place where we've all so often visited is called Hope. People who don't spend time here, scarcely find strength to break out of the Cage.

These thoughts roam my mind when I was making this and just flash through even staring at it now. I reminisce on my mental struggles and how pivotal hope was to bring me out of that phase.
