Happy Workers Day Great Benue Workers!
It is with great delight that I join you the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC), as well as all workers across Benue, to mark this year’s May Day celebrations.

6. Every worker deserves his/her wages; and I consider it a crime not to pay employees their due emoluments.
7. More so, the policy of regular promotion of workers as at when due, is now a mainstay of our Administration. The days of stagnation of workers in the State civil service are gone! This has not only boosted the morale of the workforce, but has also triggered productivity.
8. Furthermore, our government is already creating an enabling atmosphere for job creationand security, both within the civil service and the private sector. Employment into the civil service so far, has been strictly based on merit, and so shall it continue to be.
9. Let me inform that we are ready for the disbursement of grants/loans to individuals and groups willing to return to the farms for various kinds of agricultural activities capable of enhancing self-reliance, per capita income,
